A/N: I've made changes in the character sketch
Urvi's P.O.V.
"And the competition begins with the blowing of the conch." announced the guard, the horses of our Rath raced forward and soon we reached the forest path guiding us to a huge cave
"This is a dark cave." said Karn
"Your right, Karn. But don't worry." I said
"Me and worried I am Pandu Putra Karn. I'm not afraid of anything." said Karn smirking proudly, I rolled my eyes.
"Hiya!" I exclaimed flinging the reins
Karn's P.O.V.
"Hiya!" exclaimed Urvi flinging the reins, and we entered the cave it was pitch black, it was so dark that I couldn't even see my own hand, I could hear the Raths clash, I heard rocks fall, the horses neigh, our Rath's wheels and pigeons flapping and cooing
"This cave is extremely dark, Urvi. How will you be able to cross it?
"God has given us five senses to brave such difficult times, Karn. When you are unable to see the path, listen to it. The sound of these pigeons will illuminate the path to us." said Urvi
"Like the Shabdbhedi ban." I said
"Precisely." said Urvi after a while we came out of the cave I smiled and gave a high-fi to Urvi. We reached a narrow path Urvi looked worried she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the right I smiled
"What happened?" I asked, Urvi looked at me then at her hand she scoffed
"Karn, the heroic, who is known for his infallible aim... Your arrows are missing the target today." she said
"You were the one who had given me your hand." I said
"You are my friend. Why just the hand? I can even give you my life. I had gestured to you to go to the right. There is a narrow stretch of path ahead. It will help maintain the balance of the Rath." said Urvi
"Hiya!" exclaimed Urvi flinging the reins we reached a deep and wide trench
"It is impossible to cross this trench." I said, Urvi looked at me
"You just wait and watch. You'll be shocked." she said, she went faster she snapped the reins hardly and the horses jumped the Rath flew over the trench and landed on the other side I was shocked my jaw dropped as I looked at Urvi, she looked at me and shirked
"Didn't I tell you.?" she said, I turned and looked at the trench
"You were right I am shocked." I said
"Look." said Urvi
Urvi's P.O.V.
"Look." I said jerking my head at the Rath in front of us and entered the arena and crossed the finish line first
"All hail Rajkumari Urvi!" chanted the citizens multiple times. We got off the Rath and started walking to
"Will you not congratulate me?" I asked Karn
"I should half the credit for the victory for not falling off the Rath." said Karn, I widened my eyes shocked
"Actually, you don't deserve any credit but it's said, right we should share everything with our friends. All right. I'll share the credit with you." I said frowning
"When you chose me as your rider I thought I'll sustain injuries. That didn't happen. Instead, I became your fan you've won this competition with utter honesty by following your Guru's advice. I learnt something new today. The hand's that wear bangles can control the reins." said Karn
"The hand's that wear bangles always controlled the reins even when it comes to matters of life. Let me teach you one more thing today." I said, Karn looked at me
"In the future, if you fight a war choose your charioteer wisely. An expert charioteer can turn defeat into victory." I said and gave a nod asking Okay? Karn gave a nod I smiled we heard a horse neigh we turned around and saw Nakul
"Kul?" asked Karn, he and I exchanged looks and walked to Nakul looked at us
"What is it Kul, you look worried?." asked Karn
"Matao and Pitashree..." Nakul trailed
"What about them? Are they okay?" asked Karn worriedly
"They want to talk about something important and... and they looked tensed." said Nakul. Karn was thinking he made a sharp whistle with his right thumb and index finger and Narsimh came racing Karn jumped on him and raced off and so did Nakul. I smiled seeing the love and care Karn have for Kunti Maa, Madri Maa and Pitashree Pandu.
