Scared

chapter 2

jeno and mark walked through the school corridors, earning everyone's attention. the lee brothers had every girl and boy wrapped around their finger. jeno looked up and saw his boyfriend, he quickly ran towards the pink haired boy and ditched his older brother. mark rolled his eyes before stuffing his hands into his black skinny jeans. jeno embraced jaemin into a big hug, earning a small cute chuckle from the pink hair alpha. jaemin nuzzled his nose into jeno's neck, and inhale his herbal scent. jeno softly smiled and pecked jaemin cheek before turning to his elder brother. 

"hyung come here!" jeno said while motioning the black haired alpha to come. mark shrugged, 'what could possibly happen?' before walking towards his younger sibling.

lets just say, something happened. 

mark walked to jeno and stood next to him. jeno shot his brother an eye smile and spoke. 

"hyung, meet my friends. this is chenle, he is a real life dolphin and he screams really fucking loud," he pointed at the green haired boy who was scrolling through his phone,

 'omega.' mark thought to himself after inhaling a tiny bit of the omega's scent, but then scrunching his nose due to the sweetness coming from the omega. 

"that is jisung, he is a pure blooded. and we don't even know if he is an alpha or a chicken actually," jeno said after patting jisung on the head, earning a small growl from the younger. 

"yah you don't growl when chenle does that to you, anyways. this is jaemin, my boyfriend of course, he is an alpha." mark subtly smiled. 

"last but not least, we have haechan. he has the same surname as us you know, lee haechan." mark perked up when he inhaled a bit of the said male's scent. he looked up and saw an angel. 

mark gulped when he saw how the boy in front of him was dressing. tight black jeans, white shirt, black converse, and brown fluffy hair. the boy had honey-tanned skin, and eyes that held galaxies. boy, mark was whipped. jeno nudged mark, 

"hyung, gwenchana?" mark slowly nodded. and when haechan spoke, mark was so close to fainting.

"hi hyung! i'm haechan." haechan soothing, sweet voice blessed the pure-blooded's ears. mark reached out to shake the tanned-male's hand. 

"mark." he said, he softly shaking the younger's hand. lets just say that, this was only the beginning of a new friendship, or relationship.

it was the first class, but mark just couldn't focus. his mind was filled with a specific someone. heck, he couldn't figure out what rank that specific someone was in. jaehyun, his friend lightly tapped on his notebook to get his attention. mark turned towards him and raised his brows, clearly waiting for jaehyun to start talking. jaehyun smiled and asked, 

"you are dreaming. what happened to you? you never dream or lose focus after sungjian you know." mark scoffed at the name before asking jaehyun. 

"jae, do you know any first-years called lee haechan?" jaehyun smiled before saying. 

"ah yes. taeyong's brother. why?" mark shook his head before turning back into his seat. he then let that sentence sink in a bit, before gasping and said. 

"hyung, your omega mate's brother?!" jaehyun eyed mark up and down before nodding hesitantly. 

"mark-ssi. please quiet down, class will be starting." their female beta teacher said. mark clicked his tongue before prying his hands off jaehyun's shoulders and subtly slammed it on the table without loud noises. jaehyun just chuckled before patting mark's right shoulder then saying something, as if he knew what was mark thinking.

"mark, he is single, not mated and he is an omega." mark perked up when he heard that haechan was an omega and also not mated. mark turned to jaehyun with glistening eyes while mouthing a subtle 'thank you'. jaehyun just smiled and turned to the board to focus on the class. mark didn't know why but he felt like he needed to make haechan his mate, and protect the omega with his life.
