Scared

chapter 4

mark composed his breath, trying to find a steady rhythm. but he just couldn't. haechan was running in his mind, again and again. his honey voice, his tanned skin, his chocolate scent.. 

"hyung?" there it is. that honey voice. mark looked up and hummed, unconsciously letting out frustrated pheromones. 

"you okay hyung?" the omega asked timidly, scared that the alpha would lash out on him after smelling a hint of the alpha's scent. mark growled softly before nodding his head. everyone became confused, why did haechan suddenly speak so softly, almost scared that the black haired alpha he was talking to would suddenly scream at him. but it wasn't like he was letting out pheromone- 

jaehyun gasped softly next to taeyong. he thought to himself. 

'pheromones. that's it. but only mates can smell each other's pheromones... mark and haechan are mates. i have to tell taeyong.' jaehyun softly grabbed taeyong's thighs, and softly whispered. 

"i need to talk to you." taeyong nodded and said.

"jaehyun and i need to talk for a while. you guys can continue doing whatever you are doing." taeyong then held jaehyun's hand and pulled him into the familiar room, taeyong's room. they walked in and taeyong closed the door. he then turned towards jaehyun, waiting for his boyfriend to speak. 

jaehyun then said, 

"haechan and mark are mates." taeyong widened his eyes.

"haech-"

"i know haechan could smell mark's pheromones. mark is in his rut right?" jaehyun nodded at taeyong's question. taeyong sighed. jaehyun connected the omega's lips with his after sensing that his mate was getting anxious. jaehyun slowly moved his lips, also letting out pheromones to calm his younger omega down. taeyong let out a small mewl and jaehyun disconnected their lips. 

jaehyun smiled and left a kiss on taeyong's head, before walking out. 

taeyong smiled but then sighing at the thought of his little brother having a mate. he was scared that his little brother would get hurt. he then followed his elder mate out of the room. 

"hyung.." haechan softly whined. he was scared to be annoying to the elder alpha. mark softly growled and releasing more pheromones, clearly scaring the poor omega. haechan letted out a small whimper, loud enough for the alpha to hear. mark quickly panicked and ran towards haechan, and he pulled the scared omega into his arms. he released pheromones to calm the omega down. 

"im sorry im so sorry i didn't mean to.." mark whispered lowly to calm the omega down. haechan said nothing. 

"haechan i'm in my rut, i don't want to hurt you." mark continued.

'hyung is in rut?' haechan thought. haechan then sighed and said.

"im sorry hyung.." 

mark just hushed the omega to tell him its fine and thought. 

'why am i doing this?' it's not like mark developed a liking towards the omega. right?
