Next morning,

Jasmin woke up with a gloomy face. She went downstairs and prepared breakfast. In the meantime, Alya came downstairs ready to leave for school

Alya: good morning Mumma – she said in her usual childish tone while sitting down at the breakfast table

Jasmin: good morning baby – she said with a made-up smile

Alya: Mumma when will dada be back?

Jasmin: tonight baby

Alya: yay!!!!!

Jasmin: now finish your food fast or else you will be late for school

Alya quickly finished off her breakfast and left for school with Rohan and her mom

The rest of the day Jasmin was lost in her own world of mental distress as she has to take the big step.

In the evening,

It was 7 by the clock the doorbell rings. Jasmin opens the door and she was surprised to see Aly standing with his luggage

Aly: SURPRISE!!!! – he said excitedly and pulled her in a hug. Jasmin got startled at first but then she too hugged him back.

Jasmin: you are back early?

Aly: let's go inside first and I will tell you everything

They entered inside and upon hearing Aly's voice Alya came running from inside her room

Alya: dada!!!! – she ran towards Aly and Aly picked her up in her lap

Aly: my princess – he softly kissed her cheeks

Jasmin: now tell me what happened? Why are you back so early?

Aly: my meetings were done so I thought of returning early – he said putting down Alya

Alya: dada, where is my gift?

Aly: gifts... umm.... That... . – he was acting to tease Alya

Alya's face dropped as she really thought that Aly forgot to bring gifts for her.

Aly: here is it!!!!! – he took out a big gift wrap from one of the shopping bags

Instantly Alya's face lit up, she almost snatched the gift from Aly's hand and started opening the gift box excitedly

It was a huge princess dollhouse set. Alya was very happy with the gift

Alya: thank you dada – she said giggling and when inside her room to play with it

All these while Jasmin just stood smiling watching Aly and Alya

Aly: here – he handed another shopping bag to Jasmin

Jasmin: what? – she said coming out of her thoughts

Aly: I bought this for you my wifey – he said pulling her close through her waist

Jasmin: what's this? – she said peeping inside the bag

Aly: see it for yourself!!!

Jasmin took out a cylindrical box from the bag. She opened it and there was a very beautiful bracelet inside.

Jasmin: Aly this..... . – she was about to continue when Aly cut her in between

Aly: do you like it?

Jasmin: yes, it....it's beautiful. I love it – she said with almost moist eyes

Aly took the bracelet from her and made her wear it

Aly: it looks perfect on you!!! – he said smiling at her

Jasmin didn't say anything and just hugged her as tightly as she could. She hugged her even tighter when she felt a warm teardrop running down her eyes. She quickly rubbed it and broke the hug with a smile on her face.
