Emptiness, the only thing Asahina Mafuyu could feel. She's changed herself to be viewed as everyone's good child, which she has to live up to until this very day. Eventually, she began to sink in the suffocating sea of expectations and peer pressure that she drowned and became the Mafuyu she is before being a part of Niigo whilst being OWN.
Music, the only thing she could hear that's calling her back from above. She tried to get out and no matter how near it felt to her, it was so close, yet so far. She heard it again and somehow, she managed to come back to the surface to be seen by a girl with long pale hair that goes all the way to her knees.
"It'll be fine, Mafuyu." Her soft voice begins to sooth her pressure away.
"Ka... Kanade..."
The girl, Kanade, played the song again. Upon hearing it, Mafuyu began to smile softly. She watched how her facial expression went from nothing to a soft smile. Some childhood memories begin to show as she recalled how she was like as a kid.
Now I remember... I remember liking rabbits back when I was younger... That story I read nonstop that it's ingrained in my mind and the ending of that story was long forgotten as I got older...
The long-haired girl was shocked to see her expression change all of a sudden.
"Kanade?"
Kanade rushed to her and have a reassuring hug.
"Sometimes, remembering childhood memories make you feel happy, yet you would cry. I was there, too. I remember having a picnic with carnations around with my family and it became my favorite place. It feels nostalgic that you visit them for the first time in forever. My mom really loved carnations and that time, my dad made a song I still remember 'till this day."
"I just recalled I like rabbits and the story I read when I was a child. I can't believe I forgot about it; my mom threw it away because I needed to grow up."
"I'll do whatever it takes to make you return to your normal self."
"Kanade... Thank you."
