During Recess, the girls of Leo/need are on the rooftop of the school, enjoying their boxed lunches. Come to think of it, their time together during Recess is sort of like a picnic, considering how friends are always together.
"Guys, how about we have a picnic?" Saki suggests.
"I think that sounds lovely." Honami nods her head in agreement. "I know someone who knows a good spot there."
"Is it possible if you could ask them, Honami?"
"Of course! In fact, today's the day I go over to her home."
"By the way, is it fine if I invite Nene?"
"Oh, if you're inviting Nene-chan, I'll invite Emu and my big brother."
"If Tsukasa is coming, I might as well bring my sis."
"Yay!"
And so, the message soreaded within the five groups. Saki told Tsukasa and Emu (who told the troupe about it) and Haruka. Eventually, Kohane heard about it from Minori, because she was told by Haruka as she was told it's fine to bring friends along, so she offered an invite to Vivid BAD SQUAD (except An, who already knows about it from Haruka).
During the day Honami works as a housekeeper for Kanade invites the long-haired girl to join in. It may be to Kanade's dismay for needing to go out, but Honami reassured that she will be there for her, so she agreed and told Mizuki, Ena and Mafuyu about it.
Next day at Miyamasuzaka Girl's Academy, Shizuku was looking for her club mate, Mafuyu as she offers an invite as well.
"Really? I was told about the same thing."
"So, are you coming?"
The purple-haired girl thought about it and answered, "I'll think about it."
The day came as Leo/need, Tsukasa and Shizuku spreaded out the red and white-checkered blanket, which is surprisingly large enough to fit what they think will be enough for the four of them until they realized they invited people. To their surprise, friends of friends were there as they exchanged greetings enthusiasticaly.
Meanwhile, it was the same day Minori and her dog were out for a walk, but wanted to join in. To Akito's misfortune, the same dog that scared him after he and Toya bought cheesecake from the convenience store. He was trembling inside and Toya was there to protect him as he went in front of him.
"Ah, so you two are the ones Samo-chan and I bumped into. I'm so sorry again!" Minori bows.
Akito, whose face is purple from the sight, "tell it to stay away from me..."
"Minori-chan, I didn't know you met Shinonome-kun and Aoyagi-kun." Kohane says.
"Well, we first encountered because of Samo-chan and I guess history repeats itself. I'm supposed to be spending time with Samo-chan today."
Meanwhile, Akito had a flashback from when he was younger. He was being chased by a large dog that he ran away during a picnic just like this one.
"An, what's your group been doing lately?" Asked Haruka to An.
"Oh, we've been attending events here and there and— OMG you should decided seen our latest performance at STAY GOLD! Kohane was a-ma-zing!"
"You mean Azusawa?"
"Oh yeah, both of you go to the same school."
Rui brought out a machine and as he finished explaining what it does, he begins to float a few meters off the ground.
"That's amazing, Kamizhiro-san~" Shizuku praises.
"How would you like to try it, Hinomori-kun?"
"Let's refer to each other by our first names, Rui-kun!"
"Of course, Shizuku-kun."
Shizuku tried the device, but it seemed to have stopped working. Airi and Shiho must've forgotten to tell Rui that Shizuku isn't quite good with technology or machinery, for that matter.
I forgot to warn him...
"Anyway, as the Star of the Future, it is my job to make people smile on this special day!" Tsukasa declares as Toya puts his hands together for his savior.
Emu butts in, "me too, me too!"
"Woah, your hair looks so cute~" Saki gushes over Mizuki's cute look.
"Really? I think your hair looks cute, too~" Mizuki comments back.
"Hey, wanna style each other's hair?" The strawberry blonde offers, digging a brush out of her bag.
"Sure!"
Nene began to sing as Ichika joined in. The song they were singing together? Racing into the Night.
"Again."
The long-haired girl takes a deep breath and sung again, letting words and notes flow from her mouth.
"That sounds good." The gray head comments.
"Really? That's because you're teaching me, Nene." Flustered Ichika scratches the back of her nape.
Emu was trying to make Mafuyu smile as always, but always got the creeoy smile instead, but Kanade seemed to be fine with her company as they were listening to music and Kanade resting on Honami's lap. Ena was also with the group and as much as she wanted Emu to shut up, she can't because who knows what would happen if Emu gets saddened.
The leaders of each group, including Kanade, who decided to get up, went to the front and cleared their throats before speaking as everyone diverts their attention to them.
"You know, none of this wouldn't have been made possible if it weren't for the fans from not only Japan, but all over the world that we even get a worldwide release before the end of 2021." Kanade read what was in her hand.
"It's all thanks to everyone, the fan artists, fan fiction writers and all of the wonderful song producers and developers that we managed to get this far and become our own stars and be able to make people smile!" The sunset blond follows.
"Because everyone has been rooting for us along the way, we've managed to gain the courage to continue growing not only by ourselves, with everyone in our groups and you guys."
"We'll continue to deliver hope to those who are feeling lost and don't know what to do. We'll do it the same way you supported us!"
Everyone turns to the reader, you, who is reading this right now. The Virtual Singers also popped out of anfew people's phones in hologram form as they let their hand out to you.
"We'd like to say 'thank you' for supporting us since our release and before that!" Ichika finishes her sentence.
"Thank you for for being with us and we look forward to more years to come!" Everyone thanks you.
