A Gang

-After school end-

Takemichi is now waiting for Hinata at the stairs.

"Takemichi, are you waiting for me?" Hinata ask the boy that are leaning on the wall. "Yeah," Takemichi answered in short word. "By the way, can you accompany me to the book store nearby here?" "Sure, I don't have anything to do anyway."

The both of them are walking down the stairs carefully to avoid fell off, their are walking while chatting, well it was Hinata that the most chatting in the conversation while Takemichi just listen.

"Ne Takemichi"
"Mmm," Takemichi's hum in response.
"I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"About what happen when you are with you're friends, and they also might target you because of me"
"It's not you're fault, it's was mine in the first place to become their friends"

Hinata want to say something, she was about to open her mouth then she suddenly stop when she look at Takemichi. She look at Takemichi's face, his face is still same, he didn't have fear expression or even look at her with face.

She smile knowing that Takemichi never blame her about what happen and also never leave her. For her, Takemichi only protect what he believe is true, he never jump into any conclusion without proper explanations.

She also heard what happen yesterday, he challenged Kiyomasa because he was bullying his cousin. She also heard that someone help him, she never expected that it's was Mikey and Draken.

'He may have poker face all the time, but he was the person with biggest heart ever, a gold heart' Hinata thought to herself as she was giggling.

"Hinata"
"Yes"
"You don't need to worry, they won't do anything to you"

And one thing that Hinata notice about Takemichi is, his timing is too perfect. As if he can see the future. She always believe him, because he always keep his word.

They are at the shoe locker now, from where they standing, they can see at the front gate. There are some gang waiting there, they can't see clearly but they can tell that they are in gang.

"Takemi- eh, since when do you have hoodie?"
"I just wear it now, come on. Let's go"
"Ne, at the gate, it seem like there were a gang"
"Just ignore them"
"But what if-"
"Hina"

Hinata fell quiet as Takemichi said her nickname.

Takemichi now is wearing blue hoodie, a bit oversized.

They are walking out now, Hinata felt a bit scared but knowing that Takemichi is with her, she felt relief a bit. As for Takemichi, he didn't seem bother at all as usual.

As they are getting near to the front gate, they avoid looking direct at them.

As they past by the gang, Hinata feel relief, but then someone from the gang call out for them, it was a boy with long black hair, also have fang.

Takemichi and Hinata then turn around to look at the person that call out for them.

"Do you need something?" Hinata said, trying her best to stay calm.
"You know someone that name Takemichy or something from here?" The boy said, a bit of harsh tone.
Hinata now is panicking because they were looking for Takemichi, Takemichi is beside her now.
"Oh him" Hinata look at Takemichi as the boy were speaking.
"You know him"
"Yeah, he got caught into some trouble, so he will be late"
"Is that so, thank you," the other boy said, but this time it was the boy with lilac hair thanks him.
"You're welcome"
