Today we all start college, we agreed to start at the same school. It's more convenient anyways.

Slinging my bag over my shoulder, I walk into the school with the seven of them not to far behind me. I had my ear buds in, blasting nobody gotta know by Why Don't We. It's a bop to say the less. Looking down at my schedule, I noticed I had math for first hour. It was across campus.. the complete other way from where I was walking.

Slapping myself mentally for not checking before, I turn back around and head to the class. Guessing that none of them had this class with me, I jogged to the class. Arriving a bit before the first bell went off, I took a seat in the middle of the class. Setting my bag down underneath my desk, I pull out my phone and open the groupchat we made.

Me: this is bullshit

Darren: what's wrong?

Oli: did something happen?

Me: nah I just know no one in this damn class, regie ditch and come hang with me

Regie: as fun as that sounds mama I gotta go to class at least the first day.

Ryan: not mama 😂

Kane: class starts in 5 minutes, get off your phones

Seb: okay dad damn 🙄

Kane: I'll hurt you

Justin: what's going on?

Darren: not angie stealing my man

Rolling my eyes at my phones before stuffing it in my pocket, I could feel the small buzz from the groupchat messages still coming through.

The teacher walked in, everyone turned as he walked past. Holy shit, why is he low key kinda fine. Looking at the people around me, they looked as shocked as I was.

"Good morning class, I'm Mr. Bao or you can call me Mr. B either works. I don't have anything planned until Wednesday, so try to be a bit productive at least during the first few minutes of class." With that he sat down and called out names for attendance.

First hour ended pretty quickly, I found out regie and me had the same next two classes together. Sighing in relief as I walked with him to class.
"I don't think being in a class alone is that bad. We see each other everyday ya know?" He pointed out as he held the door open for me to go into the class.

"Yeah yeah but it sucks ass being surrounded by kids you don't know." I shrug and sit in a random seat, he sat next to me and chuckled. "And that's where talking and making friends come in silly." He ruffled my hair and I swatted his hand away. He shouldn't be making my heart beat this fast man.

The teacher came in and explained that this English class would be easy as long as we followed along and did our work. She assigned us partners and luckily for me that was regie. We had to make a presentation about ourselves and find something in common to combine the presentations together. It wasn't that complex so I didn't complain. Pulling my computer out my bad I set it between the both of us.

"So how exactly are we gonna do this, because we don't have much in common. The only thing we have in common is fashion." I said as I pulled up the presentation app. "Girl maybe you're slow as hell. That can be what we combine it on." Shaking his head, he opened in note book and wrote down some things about himself that he was gonna add to the presentation. Blinking a few times before realizing what I said. I laughed it off and began working on the assignment.

Leaning back in the chair to stretch my back, I looked over and realized regie was dead asleep. His head was back his arms were crossed. Shifting in my seat, I pull his head onto my shoulder so hewouldn't wake up with a crook in his neck. I just went back to my assignment and in no time the class was over.

Shaking regie a bit, he rubbed his eyes and hummed in question before realizing everyone was getting up to leave the class. Throwing his stuff in his bag he stood up and waited for me to gather up my things.

"I deserve a thanks ya know, you looked so uncomfortable sleeping with you head back like that." Shimming through the tightly packed seat, i playfully pinch his arm. He looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" He said looking in the glass of the door of the class to fix his hair.

"Don't worry about it, hurry up pretty boy before we're late for gym class." Quickly fixing his shirt, we book it to the gymnasium.

By time we got there we were winded, we sat on the bleachers with anyone else as the gym teacher passed out the gym outfits. At least the school colors were good. Black and purple were pretty together.

After gym it was lunch, we all met up in the cafeteria. Me and regie were covered in sweat, both of us basically collapsing once we got to the table. "What's up with y'all." Sebastian suddenly asked as they all stared at us like we were crazy. "That damn gym teacher is a demon bro." Regie said as he leaned his head on my shoulder as my head was against the cold lunch table.

Darren pulled regie's head off my shoulder and onto his. He didn't seem to care because he didn't fight him like he usually did.

I lifted my head off the table and met eyes with Ryan. He looked a bit off for some reason, his aura felt different from usual. He was fine when we all came into the cafeteria..
