10. A Loveable Yet Troublemaking Little Sister

    Turns out, Naomi's a Logia...

    After a particularly harsh training session with the crew's resident swordsman and first mate that left the noirette heaving and panting for air, the girl seemingly managed torn her body into a gaseous matter after failing to block one of Zoro's hits. She could still remember how shocked and surprised everyone was at the time, even Robin's eyes were a bit wide compared to normal.

    "That's right! Stars are made up of very hot gas!" Nami had shouted at the time.

    "No wonder Naomi-chan feels warm whenever she started using her power..." Sanji mused.

    Luffy was busy running his hands through Naomi's gaseous form with an awed look. Usopp also tried running his hand over her.

    "The gas is quite hot too. Though it's not like it could burn..."

    "That's because stars are made up of helium and hydrogen," Robin walked up to them, a hand supporting her chin in thought. "Stars shine by burning hydrogen into helium in their cores,  a process which gives off energy that heats the star." She didn't mention that the heat should be millions of degrees hot.

    "Wait... Isn't helium and hydrogen the lightest elements? Or did I misunderstood my chemistry class again..." Naomi muttered the last sentence with a sweatdrop. Robin nodded at her question.

    "Indeed it is," Before Robin could fully answer her question, Luffy interrupted.

    "She kinda looks like Smokey when she's like this... shishishi!" Luffy laughed. Naomi thought back to the hot chu- I mean marine officer from Loguetown.

    "Wait... if that shitty marine could fly, then isn't it possible for Naomi-chan to fly as well? Robin-chan did say that stars are made up of the lightest gases," The crew's chef suggested, hands in his pockets.

    "I/She can fly?!" Naomi as well as the trio of Luffy, Usopp and Chopper screamed out, their eyes becoming stars and their mouths wide open.

    "HECK NO I'M NOT FLYING!!"

    Luffy and Usopp whine. They really wanted to fly- see Naomi fly. The girl, however, isn't going to entertain them by jumping off the crow's nest without AT LEAST a thick safety mattress to soften her fall in case their little experiment fails.

  "Nao's no fun. If you have balls then you'll jump!" The young captain shouts out the younger girl. A tick mark grows on Naomi's face.

   "I'M A GIRL I DON'T HAVE BALLS, YOU IDIOT!"

    "Boo Boo..." The boys jeered, holding thumbs down in disappointment.

   "Why I oughta-"

    Before Naomi could finish her curse, a firm hand softly pushes her.

    "Wha-?!" She only thing she realized as she falls to the hard deck is the flurry of flower petals carried by the wind.

    "KYAAA!!!!"

    'That's it. I'm gonna die! I'm not gonna survive from this height!'

    Naomi closes her eyes shut and braced for impact. Her fear and panic overwhelm her mind, totally making her forgetting to focus on turning her body into gas. A few metres from the ground, Naomi feels her body's momentum forcibly stopped by a firm hold on her body.
