one month later (6 months pregnant)--------------
Karen and I have been hanging out a lot more. She reminds me of when I had friends and when life was easier. We've been connecting lately. I really missed having a friend. But There's something about that Miranda chick that I don't like or trust. Maybe it's the fact that she got David high but whatever it is I don't like it. But anyway the babies are fine and I'm healthy.
"Hey Jas can we talk?" James asked
"Yea sure, what's up?" I asked as I got outta bed.
"Well I was thinking about us and our relationship and I just need to know what are we?" He asked
"We're having fun." I said then I kissed him.
"See, I hate it when you do that." He says
"Do what?" I asked
"Say that we're just having fun then kiss me the way you do." James says
"I'm sorry. I guess. I can't help it if I'm a charm." I said with a smirk.
"Listen, I love you. That's never gonna change. And when you're ready for us to be an us I'll be here, waiting for you." James says then he walks out the hotel room.
"Mom are you and dad getting back together?" David asked.
"I'll get back to you once I know the answer." I said. "Oh and this time. You and Miranda get out of here. Don't get high and don't get into any trouble." I said. Then he just nodded his head. I walk out the hotel room and walk down the hall. As I was walking down the hall I saw Miranda. She was shaking hands with some guy and not the nice to meet you hand shake, the drug dealing kind.
"Oh, Miss Jasmine... Hi" Miranda says as the guy walks away.
"What was that?" I asked. Knowing the answer.
"What?" She asked
"Oh don't play dumb with me. I saw you." I said
"And you saw what exactly? Me getting a handshake?" She says
"No, I saw a drug deal. Out in the open. Miranda, you're 13. You shouldn't be in this type of business." I said
"Says the bitch who got pregnant at 13 and worked as a stripper all her life." Miranda says.
"You are so lucky you're not my child! Because if you were, You'd be dead right now. I can call the police on you though. I'd like to report a 13 year old drug dealer who got my son high. How's that sound?" I said
"You threaten me again, and I will hurt you son, physically and mentally." She says then she walks away.
"Say the hell away from him!!!!!" I screamed but she kept walking and then she walked into the hotel room and waved goodbye to me. Oh that bitch has it coming to her. I just walked out the hotel and then I saw Karen she was talking on the phone and she laughing and smiling alot. Then once I got to her she was done talking.
"Jas hi!" Karen says as I walk up to her.
"Hey. So what's the googlly eyes and flushed cheeks all about?" I asked
"Oh nothing I just got off the phone with Andrew." She says. She can't be talking about my Andrew right?
"Andrew?" I asked
"Oh that's Ethan's father. We've been connecting lately and he's doing great. He wont let the fame get in the way of his relationship with Ethan. That's what I love about him." She says
"Love!" I yelled
"Well I'm not inlove with him but we were once inlove and I still care about him." She tells me. Then I turn right back around and walked away. "Wait Jasmine, where are you going?" She asked
"Don't talk to me!" I said
"What? Wait, What did I do?" She asked as she caught up to me.
"You're the reason my ex fiance went to Australia!" I yelled
"Fiance? Andrew is your fiance, and I'm guessing the father of your baby." She says
"Yea, so just don't talk to me again!" I said then I walked away.
"Jas." Karen called out but I kept walking.
Miranda's p.o.v
"Do we have to leave? I love just staying here with you." I said. But really I just didn't feel like going out and people seeing me.
"Yes, I promised my mother we'd get out instead of hanging here al the time." David tells me.
"Fine. Then let's go somewhere I know." I said as I led the way out of the room.
at the place (David's p.o.v )
I look around and we're in a dark alley way.
"Uh where the hell are we?" I asked
"Your mom wanted us to get out right? We're out. Don't worry about anything, you're safe with me." Miranda says. I want to believe her but somethings not right. Suddenly I hear a mans voice.
"You got it?" He asked
"Oh yea. Oh and don't worry about him, he wont tell a soul about this. He's cool." Miranda says the the guy. Then she turns around and looked at me and said, "Right David?"
"Yea. I'm cool." I said. I began to get scared and nervous. Somethings not right. Then I see Miranda handing him drugs.
"You wanna try some?" She asked me.
"Oh no thanks." I said
"Oh come on, don't be a party pooper like your mother. Live a little. I garenty you'll love the effect it has." She says as she hands it to me.
"I should get going." I said
"David, don't be a pussy." Miranda says. I'm guessing she's already high.
"I'm not I just think I shouldn't be here." I said. Suddenly the man pulled his gun out and fired it.
Jasmine p.o.v 2 hours later
I looked down on my phone and Andrew was calling. I rolled my eyes then answered it.
on the phone
Me:So she told you?
Andrew: Yea. Listen I'm so sorry.
Me: I want to say it's ok, but itts not. You left me for my best friend and her son. I don't think I can ever see or talk to you ever again. (Crying)
Andrew: Jasmine, I stil love you and I'm sorry
Me: You said that already. And I'm tired of hearing it. That's all I hear from you. I'm sorry. It's so annoying. And I'm sitting here crying over you when I could be with someone else. But instead I'm stuck on you. And I can't go move on to someone else if I still have feeling for someone else. That's unfair to me and unfair to him. I'm six months you know. I look like I'm 12 months. These babies' are gonna be wondering why you traded them for Ethan.
Andrew: Jasmine............. I'll try to be in there life. I promise.
Me: Don't make promises you can't keep. (I hung up. then walked to the living rooom part)
I turn on the Tv and sat down trying to control my tears. Then I got up and got a bag of chips and sat back down.
Tv-
Anchor: We still have no news on where Miranda Ballinger is. Again she is being charged for murder of her own parents and sister. So she is very dangerous. If anyone see's this girl please don't hesitate to call. Again her name is Miranda ballinger acussed of Attempted murder of her own parents and sister. I'm Mary Duncan back you guys.
As soon as I heard her name I jumped up. Oh I gotcha now.
