Noah
I didn't go to school yesterday, I don't even enjoy schooling.

I missed the physics test, I felt relieved. I never cared to study because it's not my goal anyway. It is to become a great guitarist.

I had hell lotta fun yesterday, jammed a lot, learnt new tunes and went out with my bandmates. I needed a breather to run away from my guilt.

Today I had to go to school as I was gonna perform again. Little did I know that wouldn't happen.

"Hello Noah, may I know why you didn't attend school yesterday, you did know that there was a physics test right?" Mrs Miller our physics professor said.

"I didn't have interest and I had better things to do so I missed it, I don't care about your subject anyway."

"You cannot talk to your teacher like this. Have you got no manners Noah. The test is important, you will have to give a retest next week and the entire week is a detention week for you."

"What??! No way I have to perform with my bandmates. I have to practice with them after school. There is no-"

Mrs Miller cut him off "You aren't going to be performing for a week."

What is actually wrong with her. This isn't important for me.

"Noah, you can't disagree with me, infact you won't be alone in detention you will have a friend too, you both can help eachother in physics and prepare for the test again."

"I don't need anyone,I am fine alone."
"You don't get to decide this Noah! Here you go your study partner."

It was none other than Ava.

What?! why am I going to be in detention with this girl!! This is way too much, why do I always end up seeing her and ruining my day.

"Why am I supposed to study with her. This will ruin my day even more. I hate her."

"Noah watch you words!." Mrs Miller exclaimed.

"It's okay ma'am, a self centred guy like him can only talk in this manner. Whatever he says doesn't affect me." Ava said

"I don't know what is wrong here but you guys need to get marks. Ava make sure you pass this time and Noah make sure you attend the test this time."

Mrs Miller walks away.
