The Trail

Boba POV

I was watching Vernal do target practice after we had finished sparring. while pondering the reason why I saw the vision of my father dying again, but using that trick to knock me out is dishonorable and unacceptable. For this they would pay, Ozpin wanted them gone in the six out of the Eight weeks left, I would do it in two. Vernal would just finish off a chain of headshots with the new rifle I gave her.

"Vernal, enough gear up and deal with the informants at those coordinates and make sure to get intel from them before you kill them"

"Got it Boba" she said while walking towards the armory

I then walked out to the balcony attached to the outpost and flew off to my first stop, a large abandoned building that the white fang had turned into a hideout. I landed on a Roof of a nearby building and dropped down into the alleyway and landed on top of a guard and then I punched him in the chest with my left arm while firing a duo of blaster bolts through his chest leaving a smoking hole in his chest as his body fell to the ground. I then proceeded to swap my visor to heat vision to see that there was too many people in the building for me to take on alone so instead I deactivated the heat vision and pulled some thermal detonators out of my belt pouch and so I then proceeded to go around the entire base of the building sealing all the exits and placing thermal detonators and tibana packs with them they all synced with my vambrace, then I flew away to a safe distance then I saw a familiar looking individual with green hair I watched as she approached the hideouts casually and entered the building. I'd press the button on my vambrace causing the bottom of the building to explode into a set of blue and orange fire before causing the building to collapse completely to the ground and I'd would continue to do that to several buildings that were white fang outposts in the outskirts of the city and while doing that I realized while most of them were well spread out some of them had started branching out more towards the southeast not knowing what was there besides the southeastern wall I decided to call Ozpin

"Ozpin, What is to the southeast beyond the wall"

"Well beyond the southeast wall is the failed addition to the city called mountain Glenn" said Ozpin

"Interesting" I'd close my comm and reopen it to call Vernal

"Vernal, are you done with your assignment yet"

"Almost done Boba *blasters shots* I'll get back to you shortly" said Vernal

"Don't bother I'll be there shortly" I'd say as the Slave-1 lowers its boarding ramp and I walk aboard then over to the pilot seat to take control of the ship and fly to Vernal's location.

(This is just setup for the next chapter then after that I'll do character building)
