The ambulance was here and carried me to the hospital. I saw Keiona here and Edmund. They give me a look of assurance.
"Do you think your gonna have the baby now?" Keiona said.
"I-I don't know" I was on the hospital bed.
"....So Mo'nique, this is contractions your having. Like how it's the eight month, you need to get some rest and stop working because it will cause your baby to have insufficient disorders. For now, rest and eat healthy" The nurse said.
I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much! I've been worrying"
"No need to worry, dear. But remember get rest for the baby and you"
Everyone's face looked relieved.
"I just need to check on the baby to see any problems. It's gonna be cold but it won't last longer" She put the lubricating jelly on my abdomen. I saw a picture coming up. It's my baby! She's so big! Oh my gosh. God, you did a wonderful job.
Nurse Michelle printed out the baby's picture and place it in an envelope. She smiled and give it to me.
"Thank you for everything!!"
"It's my everyday job. Your welcome" She smiled.
"Baby in one month!" Keiona shouted happily.
"Indeed. Remember to get some sleep, Monique" Edmund warned.
"I will"
"Finally we can go home. Was everything okay?"Maureen said.
"It was absolutely great"
"Oh! Thank God!" She hugged us and we went home.
