"She's just a woman and she's pregnant" One of the other men sighed. "If Ace hears about this, he will not be pleased. We don't kill women and children"

The man with the gun chuckled. "Lift your head and look
at me when I talk"

"You're one pretty girl. If it were up to me, you'd be dead already" He turned and looked at the dead man laying on the ground.

"Don't come back here. This park is ours at night. If I see you here again. I will not hesitate to kill you" He walked away without looking back.

The dark hair one gave me one last look before walking off with the other two.

When they were completely out of my sight, I fell on the grass and poured out relieve in a flood of uncontrollable tears.

I realized that I was still close to the dead man. I stood up quickly from the cardboard and ran as fast as I could without looking back.

I couldn't stop the tears from falling as I walked on the cold streets. I got a few looks from the persons passing by, but no one cared to stop and ask the pregnant girl why she was crying.

I didn't know where to go, and was too afraid to go to another park. What if the same thing happened but with different results? I couldn't risk it, so I continued walking in random directions, taking unexpected turns.

After walking for over an hour, I stopped and looked down on my sore feet. I had to find somewhere to sleep.God, where am I going to go?

I whimper then cross the street and start walking on the road. Hoping and praying that I was going in the right direction. The road was still busy, and cars were passing every minute.

My muscles and feet were hurting me, so I stopped. Then slowly pushed myself on the dirty ground. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. The tears were still falling from my face but not as rapidly as they were a few hours ago. I opened my eyes at the sound of a car passing.

"Hey! You okay?" A woman pushed her head out, looking at me.

"N-No"

"Do you want a ride?"

I can't drive with strange persons I don't know.

"No"

"You can't stay here on the road at this time"

"I can handle it"

She looks friendly with her brown eyes and black hair. Small wrinkles was showing her face. Something was telling me to go with her.

"I can help you" She said.

"I don't trust you" I said.

"I understand that. But I don't want to see you struggling in this cold night. Let me help you"

I finally gave in and said. "Okay" And walked to the car with my bag. She handed me a blanket to cover up.

"Thanks" I said.

"No problem and I'm Maureen" She smiled at me and started to drive off.

"Monique"

"What a beautiful name. Actually my daughter name is Keiona so I'm telling you before you meet her"

"So I'm going to your house?" I asked.

"Do you have any other place I can drop you off?" Maureen asked.

"No" I looked down.

"You don't have to be ashamed. I was in the same situation when I was younger"

"How did you come out of it?"

"Well my father died and my mother said it was too much kids for her to handle so she put me in foster care. The people that I called family sexually assaulted me and I was too young to realize that they did. They kicked me out of the house and years of being on the streets, a man saw me and helped me who is now my husband. He told me about this Jesus and said He's the only who can cure you of your childhood pain. So I gave my life to Christ after some months of deciding. Now I'm happy as I ever could be!"

"Wow" This couldn't be rehearsed. This is coming from her heart and that made me trust her more.

"I'm happy you gave your life to Christ!" I smiled.

"That was the day I felt like I was floating on water!" She laughed.

I smiled at how she's not ashamed of speaking of God.

"Here we are" She drive in a garage. The house was big and pretty!
