    I knew the boys were right around the corner, just like I knew what they were about to do before I showed up, just like I knew they had jumped apart seconds before their lips touched and began acting like nothing was happening. Honestly, I had hoped that they would actually kiss, because it would have been sooo hot. And I meant it when I said I would totally be down for a threesome as long as it involved Ren and AJ. But there goes my aspirations of Amora and AJ ever being together. I know there's someone who she going to have a connection with... I thought it was him. Maybe not? Now AJ's womanizing tendencies make a lot more sense, he's gay. There's no way he could commit to a woman. Amora needs her someone. Someone who will love her in a way I can't, a way her mother never will. Because she deserves to be happy, she lets her mother walk all over her. She continues these stupid experiments only to accept the punishment her mother decided fit for what she did. Even though what Amora did was no one's fault except her animalistic instincts that were forced on her when she was an infant.

"Hey boys." I croon at them as I plaster a smile on my face, trying to pretend I am completely oblivious to what they were about to do. Ren clears his throat

"Hello, Raven." He keeps eye contact with me even after he's done speaking, they're so alluring he almost has me swooning...almost. I give him a seductive smile

"Hey Ren."

I look over at AJ, he looks a little pissed about my interruption but is doing his best to keep it hidden. He gives me his sexy smile and I roll my eyes

"Don't even. You're just making me want to gas you like I did that homeless man."

His smile grows wider. Ugh, he's so cocky.

"Is that a challenge darlin'?" I glare at him, "You know I used to want to sleep with you but now, you have better luck getting your boyfriend there into your bed."

    I gesture to Ren as I speak the words. Purposely getting into their heads with the foreknowledge of the kiss they almost shared. And seeing the look on their faces as I say it...priceless. I watch their faces turn from normal and irritating to confused and horrified, I'm having the hardest time biting back a laugh when Amora finally rounds the corner after I had called her what seems like ages ago. Her eyes are red and puffy, and I know she was trying to conceal her tears before she came anywhere near the two idiots standing in front of me.

"Amora"

     AJ croons as he slides over to her. He grabs her hand, turns it over palm up and kisses her wrist. She hides it well, but I see her breath catch in her throat and when he raises his head and smiles at her, she is entranced and staring right into his eyes. I look over to Ren who is giving off a vibe of extreme jealousy. And for once, the emotion in him is so pronounced it shows on his face. Neither AJ nor Amora have looked away from each other but. Instead of his smooth cocky smile that I'm used to, his face displays awe. Awe, from AJ Collins? I knew there was a special energy between them. I walk over to Ren and put his hand around my waist, anything to distract him from AJ who is, indefinitely, hurting him. Anything to wipe that look of sadness off his face.

"Soo Ren?" I smile at him as he drags his attention to me. He looks at where I put his arm, up to my face, back down to his arm, and up at me one more time

"Yes Raven?"

I get on my tiptoes to whisper in his ear, "Have you ever made out with a girl like me before?"

obviously catching him off guard, his cheeks turn pink

"I uhhh." He stutters and adjusts his glasses. "I cannot say that I have. May I ask why your curious?"

"No, you may not. Now, do you want to make out with a girl like me?" without waiting for a response I say "Yes? Okay, let's go."

       I drag him away from AJ and Amora who had started talking about something neither Ren or I could even hear. In fact, they didn't even notice that we left. We walk all the way down the street and around a corner into an alley that looks real safe...sort of. I lean my back against the wall and pull Ren towards me. His lips landing on mine in an instant. His hands are by his sides until he places them against the wall behind me and leans down into the kiss. My hands are wrapped around his neck and he moves one of his hands down to my waist. He's a much better kisser than I expected. How much practice has he had with AJ?
