Context:
• You are Shinichiro's partner (romantically).
• You work in the same shop that he does, whenever you had free shifts, you would look after Mikey and is friends when they were younger.

"It's Mikey's birthday soon right?"
"Yeah." Shinichiro replied, smiling.
You watched your boyfriend work on a CB250T.
"Is that Mikey's present?"
Shinichiro looked surprised, "How did you know?"
"Just a guess." You shrugged. "You've been working on it for a while, and every time you do, you have this really goofy grin on your face." You laughed.
"Wha- Don't laugh at me!"
"I'm not laughing because it's sad. I'm laughing because it's cute! It's so obvious that you love Mikey."
"Of course I do."
"Who wouldn't?"
Shinichiro nodded another goofy grin plastered on his face.

It was the 12th of August, a warm and calm night. The time was 11:26.

"Let's turn in for the night Shinichiro, you've got like, seven days until Mikey's birthday, you have time."
"I wanna finish it though."
"You can finish it tomorrow."
"Fine." He sighed.
You slung your left arm around his shoulder, "Mikey's gonna love it!"
Shinichiro smiled broadly, "I hope so."

You and your boyfriend had gotten comfortable, not doing anything particular except talking. Not long after, you heard clicking and light tapping. You looked at the door connecting to the front of the shop, then slowly and turned to look at Shinichiro.
He was looking at you as well, "Did you hear that?" He whispered.
"Yeah...Do you think someone's trying to break in?" You asked.
"Maybe...Let's call the police and wait."
You nodded grabbing your phone. Shinichiro stood up.
"What are you doing? Don't go out there!"
"But the bike..."
"We can always get another one!"
"Do you have any idea how how hard they are to get a hold of?"
"I know but what if the robbers take something else? What if they try and kill us Shinichiro?"
"That doesn't matter..."
"Shinichiro!" You tried to keep your voice low as tip toed quickly towards him.
But he had already closed the door in your face. You fumbled around on your phone, dialling the phone number of the police.

"Hello, this is the police speaking. What is your emergency?"
"We're getting robbed. S.S Motors, please come quickly."
"Please wait patiently Ma'am, the police will arrive soon."
"Thank you." You hung up the phone quickly and rushed towards the front of the shop.

"Is that you Keisuke?"

'Baji Keisuke?! He's robbing us?!"

"Shi...Shinichiro-kun?"
The long, dark hallway seemed to stretch for miles. Just as you saw Shinichiro's figure, you also saw another, smaller figure approach him quickly. The small figure held a large, metal cable cutter in both hands.
"Oi!" You shouted.
But he didn't stop, he was heading straight for Shinichiro.
"Shinichiro! Behind you!"
He turned slowly, almost looking...bored?

Then, the echoing sound of metal hitting bone rippled through the air. A loud crack.
In slow motion, your boyfriend fell to the ground with a thump.
You stood motionless, unable to process what just happened.
The small figure stood over him, the wrench Shinichiro was holding clattered on the floor.

"Let's get the Hell outta here, Baji!"
"What the Hell are you doing, Kazutora?!"
"What was I supposed to do?! He saw us!"
"This guy is....Mikey's older brother!"
"Huh?"
