⚫️ Matsuno Chifuyu x Reader - Jealous ⚫️

Also sorry for not publishing anything it's been a busy few days for me and I've been playing Genshin Impact lol

Btw there's some cursing in this Oneshot.

Context:
• Chifuyu and you have been dating for a while now, everyone in Toman knows.
• Chifuyu doesn't like you being associated with Toman because he's afraid that you'll get hurt. You go with him to meetings so that he can look after you.
• You are friends with Draken and you two have a close relationship. Not many people know that you two are close. You were both raised in the same brothel.
• Your ex-best friend has a crush on Chifuyu, when he chose you over them they became angry and started hating you. They've tried to sabotage your relationship but it never worked.
I will use '___' because I can't be bothered to come up with a name.
• You have a lot of friends in Toman.

You were walking home from school when you saw Chifuyu and your ex-best friend talking to each other. They were walking down a quiet road and were smiling and chatting as if they were a couple.
You took a sharp breath in, a throbbing at your heart appeared.
'What are they doing together??'
You quickly scurried home feeling betrayed, you couldn't understand why Chifuyu was walking with them.
'Why?'
You thought about it all night, it kept you awake and by the time you'd stopped feeling sorry for yourself it was already dawn.
Still feeling down though, you got ready for the day. You decided to talk to Draken.
'Maybe it will help to tell someone..'
You hoped so.

At the café, you swirled your (F/D), zoning out of the conversation.
"What's wrong (F/N)? Did something happen?"
You looked up at Draken with dark circles under your eyes. Your lips quivered and you looked back down at your drink.
".....I saw Matsuno with ____ yesterday.." you whispered.
"___..? Wait? You Ex-best friend?"
You nodded silently.
"Don't you both hate her/him/them? Why is Chifuyu hanging out with her/him/them?"
"I don't know.." you mumbled your eyes stinging. "I didn't go up to them, I went home."
"(F/N) you should have told me, you should talk to Chifuyu tonight."
"I don't want to, I don't want to see him."
"Fine, I'll talk to him for you, but you have to be next to me."
"Draken, I don't want to."
Draken scratched his head and sighed.
"We won't understand why he did it if we don't talk to him. Talking it out will make things better."
You stayed silent.
Draken patted your head, "It's okay (F/N), it will work out I promise."
You sobbed quietly as Draken patted your head.

Toman meeting —————————————

You stood away from Chifuyu that meeting, whenever you looked over at him he looked bored or was talking to Baji.
'Probably thinking about ____'
You chewed your lower lip as nervous butterflies danced in your stomach.

At the end of the meeting Draken walked up to you.
"Draken, let's not, It doesn't matter anymore."
"It does matter!"
"Tsk." You heard Baji.
Chifuyu rolled his eyes, then both of them walked away.
"They're acting like 5 year olds (F/N), don't worry."
You gripped onto your shirt tightly.
Draken stared at you worried. "Come on, let's walk home."

Chifuyu continued to ignore you for the next few days, it hurt you immensely, the throbbing had started to subside however. Instead of throbbing it began to burn. The burn grew hotter and hotter each time you saw him.
It was even worse because you saw ___ with Chifuyu way too often. It seemed like they were hanging out near the brothel or in cafés that you'd walk by or frequent.
'They're doing it on purpose.'

As the days passed your burning anger grew and grew. It grew so much that your anger made it's way to those around you. You could think of nothing but anger. Eventually you decided to confront Chifuyu and officially break off your relationship with him.
That evening, after the Toman meeting you stomped up to Baji and Chifuyu.
"Oi!"
They looked at you annoyed.
"What do you want?" Baji asked scrunching his nose in disgust. Chifuyu glared at you.
"This is none of your business Baji, leave before I rip your head off!"
"Like Hell you will!"
"Chifuyu we are done, I still don't understand why you've done this to me! I loved you and I thought you loved me!! I hate you, I hate you!!!"
"Stop shouting nonsense! You were the one who cheated on me, don't play the victim card!!" Chifuyu shouted in your face.
"What is wrong with you?! I saw you with ____ talking like nothing ever happened. You were so close too! Always hanging out together at cafés I'd walk by or visit. I know you've been trying to make me feel like sh*t!"
Many Toman members had turned around to watch your argument.
"Why the Hell have you been hanging out with Draken then? You're such a hypocrite, Baji and I have seen you two on multiple occasions. You guys are so touchy!!"
You stared at both of them, eyes wide.
"Draken..?" You asked confused. "You think...There's a thing going on between me and...Draken....?" The corner of your lip twitched.
"He's like a brother to me, we were raised together..."
"What?" Chifuyu stepped back.
"How come we didn't know this?" Baji asked.
"That explains me, why were you hanging around ____?"
Chifuyu looked away embarrassed.
"It was Baji's idea.." he mumbled.
Baji looked at you and Chifuyu shock written on his face.
Chifuyu sighed, "I- I wanted to make you jealous okay? I thought that if you saw me hanging out with ___ then you'd come back to me. I thought you cheated on me...You didn't even try to make it not obvious. I was so angry...."
Your eyes watered. "So, you don't like ___?"
"No of course I don't! I hate her/him/them!! I only did it because I wanted to get your attention, that's all."
Relief washed over you and you tackled Chifuyu to the ground, bear hugging him.
"Matsuno you idiot!! I was so sad when I saw you and ___ together, I thought you didn't love me anymore." You cried.
Chifuyu hugged you tightly. "I'm sorry, I should have just asked you or Draken. I won't do something like that again, I promise."
You sobbed into his shirt.
'Ah, I'm so happy, being this close to him his so comforting. He smells so nice.'
You nuzzled into Chifuyu's chest and blinked away your tears.
Chifuyu sat up while still hugging you, he glared at Baji.
"Baji..."
"I swear I thought they were dating Chifuyu..."
Draken shook his head and gave both Chifuyu and Baji a talking to.
