"Hey Melanie! Want to go on a job with us?", Natsu asked with bright smile.

"S-sorry...not today..I have errands to run...", I said awkwardly.

"Oh..."

"Next time," I winked as I walked away from my bedroom window. Suddenly, I heard rushing footsteps, and the next thing I saw, was my door kicked to the floor.

"Why not?!", Natsu whined as he shook me by my shoulders.

"I have stuff to do. I'm sorry.."

"But, Master says that we need an S-Class Wizard to join us!"

I huffed and looked to the side, placing a hand on my hip.

"Please?" Natsu showed his puppy dog eyes, so I just gave up.

"All right...I'll go with you guys..."

"YAY!!!!!!"

I got ready and left with the usual gang to the location of the job request.

"Someone's family is under attack during the night. So, the clients want us to guard their house while they are sleeping," Natsu explained to me. "In other words, we have to teach them a lesson that it is wrong to disturb a family's sleep."

I nodded, "Got it." I turned and found out that Lucy was in Horologium as always.

"Lucy....you knew we were walking right? Why do you still wear heels at times like this?", I said with a straight face.

"I'M SORRY OKAY?! GOSH!!!!", Lucy snapped.

I exhaled as I made a grin across my face. Suddenly, rustling of bushes were heard.

"What's that?!", Gray pointed out.

The rustling continued. It was heard near and away from us. Then, we were attacked by a shadowy figure, holding a sword.

Erza immediately guarded herself with her two swords and pushed the shadowy figure away from her.

Then, more shadowy figures surrounded us.

"Who are you?! Where are you from?!", Erza demanded for an answer.

"Are you the ones who attack the family that lives around here?!", Natsu demanded as well.

We all looked at the shadowy figures, took out our weapons, and got ourselves into fighting stance. We studied the enemies and I made a shocking discovery.

"!" My eyes widened as I found a black diamond on a person's shoulder. I looked around again and found other black diamonds. "Those black diamonds......NO WAY!"

"Erza. Natsu. They're from the guild, Black Diamond," I said with a little anger in my tone.

One of them smirked, "How intelligent of you, dear Melanie..."

We all turned to the owner of that voice and clenched our teeth as the figure stepped into the light.

The person had white hair and wore white clothing. He waved and smirked at me, "Nice to see you again, Melanie Ayame.."

"Melanie, you know him?", Natsu asked.

I nodded. "How do you know me?", I said sternly as I looked at the man with serious eyes.

"You are the newest member of Fairy Tail, aren't you? How can we not have heard about you?"

I sensed that he controlled my dreams when I was lost my existence. He's the one that made me dream about their guild, Black Diamond. He's the one that twisted my mind!
