Chapter 82 - A Sudden Appearance

At Tenrou Island, a person looks out the ocean. He smirks, jumps, and disappears into the air.

On the surface of the ocean, a shadow of a dragon is seen flapping its wings, heading towards Magnolia.

IN MY APARTMENT...

Zeref and I looked in mythical creature and wizard history books to get some info about who could've created my problem or what caused it.

As we looked in the books, Zeref immediately found something.

"Melanie! I found something!", Zeref pointed out.

I walked towards him and looked at what he was reading. I read the title of the page out loud, "Acnologia..."

He started to pace back and forth, "I should've known! Of course he would do such a thing!"

"Zeref, isn't Acnologia your creation?", I asked.

"No. He...he is my brother...", Zeref stated.

I reacted with surprise, "What?!"

"He is your cousin...", he added.

"So, the person you were referring to that had our blood was...Acnologia?"

Zeref nodded.

"No way!"

Suddenly, the house started to shake.

All of Magnolia started to shake.

"What's going on?!", I yelled with surprise.

"This magic power...", Zeref muttered as he clenched his teeth. "It's him!"

My eyes widened.

AT FAIRY TAIL...

"EVERYONE HOLD ON!", Erza yelled as everyone did as told.

"What is this feeling?!", Wendy yelled.

"This scent!", Natsu yelled as his eyes shot up.

A dragon's shadow appeared in the sky. It continued to flap its wings, causing everyone to stare at it with awe.

AT MY APARTMENT...

Zeref and I ran outside and noticed the dragon.

"What is he doing here?", Zeref asked.

AT FAIRY TAIL...

Everyone went outside and noticed the dragon as well.

Since I lived near Fairy Tail, I noticed that everyone was outside.

SECONDS LATER...

The dragon descended to the ground.

"Oh no!", Levy yelled.

"It's descending!", Gray yelled.

"Everyone! Take cover!", Master yelled.

Everyone ran to safe places as the dragon slowly transformed into a human.

Everyone was surprised.

"What the...", Natsu muttered.

Zeref and I ran towards the group.

"ZEREF!", everyone yelled.

"Acnologia...", Zeref said.

Acnologia turned around and smirked at Zeref, "Brother! Cousin! It's been a while!"

Everyone's eyes widened.

"Acnologia?", Erza muttered.

"What are you doing here?", Zeref asked.

"I came to visit my family of course!" Acnologia lied.

"Stop lying." Zeref turned serious.

"This feeling....the look in his eyes...could he be....responsible for my situation? He is....", I thought as my eyes turned serious.

"Zeref, you're right," I said.

Zeref nodded.

Suddenly, Acnologia laughed out loud. He turned to Fairy Tail and smiled, "You were lucky that time.  When your precious island disappeared, I felt like I was successful. But then, I sensed a strong forcefield within the area. I noticed that after I flew away. I can't believe I was so stupid. I would've used my magic to break the forcefield and kill you right on the spot. But, I didn't. So, now I WILL DO SO!!!"

Acnologia: Black Dragon's Breath!

"Everybody!", Zeref and I yelled as everyone braced themselves for the attack.

I ran in front of everyone.

Me: The Nature Fairy! Element Shield!

I created a shield with the four elements and blocked his attack.

Seconds later, Acnologia's attack disappeared and my shield disappeared.

"Your magic power....you have the power to erase memories, existence, souls, and you have dragon abilities. You! You were the one who removed existence!", I yelled.

Acnologia smiled.

"IT WAS YOU! I KNEW IT! WHY? WHY ME?!"

"Because...you are too much..."

I was speechless at his comment.

"You are always trying protect everyone and become stronger...you are fighting for our family's death. It is DISGUSTING."

I was silent.

"I thought I would delete you from this world. But no! Your necklace and your brooch protected you!"

"My necklace and my brooch protected me?", I muttered as I looked at my crystal necklace and my brooch.

A dark aura started to surround Acnologia. "YOU ARE ANNOYING! YOUR LIGHT BLINDS ME!"

He smirked again, "But, I know how to make you devastated." 

Suddenly, he appeared in front of everyone from Fairy Tail.

"I'll just deal with your precious friends.."

I gasped, "NO!"

"Heh. Just watch me!"

He disappeared with everyone.

"EVERYONE!", I yelled as I started to tremble. "I...can't believe this...how could...he become like this..."

Zeref walked towards me and placed a hand on my shoulder, "I'm still here," he said with a smile.

I smiled back.

A strong wind blew through my hair all of a sudden as I sensed a dark aura. "He's close!"

"Let's go!"

Zeref and I ran towards the location.

"Another one of us has been brought into the dark! We cannot let him get away with this! We must save Fairy Tail, save Acnologia, and protect Magnolia! I MUST NOT LET MY EXISTENCE DISAPPEAR NOW!!!!!!"
