Chapter 89 - Fairy Tail vs. Natsu!

We ran as fast as we could, trying to find Natsu along the way. We ran through the forest and ran across a long bridge that was built across a lake. He was in a place that was almost outside of Magnolia. As we continued to run, we started to feel worried about Natsu.

Why didn't he tell us? Why?

Suddenly, our running went to a stop. We ended up in a plain area with no trees, only grass. All of us, dragon slayers, sensed his presence clearly. He was in the area.

"He's here," Wendy said.

Erza's eyes shot open as she sensed strong magic, "Everyone, get ready."

We got into a fighting position. 

The grass moved in the wind gently, but as we waited, the grass started to sway more harder.

In the distance, we found Natsu surrounded by flames, walking towards us. We reacted with surprise as he laughed out loud with a smile.

"Natsu...", Lucy muttered.

He stood before us, "Nice to see you here, everyone! Why are you here?"

"We are here to snap you out of it!", Aurelie yelled.

"Snap me out of what?", he said innocently.

"You are in a trance Natsu! Your power is taking over you!", Erza yelled.

"No..you got it all wrong...This is who I am my friends! I am the ruler of fire! I DON'T NEED FRIENDS!!! ALL I NEED IS MY POWER!!!!!!", he yelled as he laughed out loud.

Gray clenched his teeth and his fists as he looked down. I noticed him and placed my hand on his shoulder, "Gray, calm down..."

"I-I can't...", Gray replied.

"Gray.."

"RAAHHH!!! YOU BASTARD!!!!!" He ran towards him about to punch him.

"GRAY!"

Natsu smirked as he put his hand in front of him and burned Gray.

We all gasped as Gray groaned with pain.

"Who's next?", Natsu asked.

We all clenched our teeth as we ran towards him, "NATSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I ran to Gray and bent down, "Are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah..."

"I'll heal you.."

I placed my hands in front of his bruise and started to heal it.

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!", everyone screamed.

Natsu: Crimson Lotus: Fire Dragon's Fist!

Aurelie: Water Wall and Shield!

Zeref: Rock Shield!

The shields blocked his attack.

Natsu jumped into the air.

Natsu: Hidden Fire Form - Crimson Lotus: Phoenix Blade!

"NATSU!!!!!", Laxus yelled as he ran towards him.

Laxus: Raging Bolt!

The two attacks combined and created a bright light.

Seconds later, the light dimmed and Natsu and Laxus were panting. But, Natsu managed to keep standing. He smirked, "Is that all you got? YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME!!"
