After a peaceful sleep, I slowly opened my eyes and made my jaw DROP.

"Wha?!", I yelled quietly as I found myself looking at Gray's sleeping face, right in front of me. "D-Don't tell me I fell asleep in his arms last night!!!!!!!!!"

I looked to the side, noticing his arms were holding me and were never let go ever since we hugged. I started blush like crazy as I looked up at Gray's sleeping face again. "He...stayed here...next to me...."  My face began to heat up as I continued to look at him and cuddle against him.

"He's so warm....just being like this...makes me happy.." I closed my eyes as I smiled. Then, I felt him tighten his hold of me and open his eyes. "Melanie, go to the bathroom and get ready...", he said with a half-asleep tone.

I giggled quietly. "Okay..."

I was about to get up as he gently pushed me back down and brought me close to him. He closed his eyes and muttered, "No! Two more minutes..."

"!" I looked up at him as he snored. With a sigh, I closed my eyes and stayed in his arms for two more minutes.

"EVERYONE!! COME ON!! IT'S TIME FOR DAY 2!!! MELANIE! GRAY!! COME ON!!!!", Mirajane yelled as everyone started to leave their rooms and head to the arena.

"Ready, Melanie?", Gray asked with a smile.

As I put on my mother's necklace, I looked at Gray through the mirror with confidence, "I'm ready."

He kept his smile and nodded. I turned around, "Are you?"

"As ready as I'll ever be..", he replied.

We entered the arena as the crowd went crazy.

We smiled and waved, ready to take on Day 2 of the Grand Magic Games!!!

"HELLO EVERYONE!!!! WELCOME TO DAY TWO OF THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES!!!!!!"

The crowd cheered as loud as they could.

"TODAY WE ARE GOING TO START TEAM MATCHES!!!!! JUST SO YOU KNOW! THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE TEAM MATCH WHENEVER THEY ARE HELD. THIS IS FOR AVAILABLE TIME PURPOSES."

"Team matches?", Lucy questioned.

'THE TEAMS THAT WILL BATTLE TODAY ARE FROM LAMIA SCALE AND FAIRY TAIL!!!!!

FROM LAMIA SCALE: LYON VASTIA AND SHELLY BLENDY!!!!!

FROM  FAIRY TAIL: MELANIE AYAME AND GRAY FULLBUSTER!!!!!!"

Gray and I reacted with surprise and looked at each other.

"GO MELANIE!!! GO GRAY!!!!!", everyone cheered from our guild. We both smiled at each other and to our group as we made our way towards the center of the arena.
