Hoseok was back in the hospital waiting room, and even though and had gone for regular checkups before, this time it would be different.  He would finally see his baby for the first time, and he might know it's gender.

"For me she's a girl," Taehyung repeated, on the way to the hospital.

"AHA.  What if It's a boy?"  he answered "What will you give me?"

"Nothing," he said confidently.  "Because it will be a girl"

"And how do you know?"

"I just know," he replied.  "My instinct tells me."

"Lie down and uncover your abdomen, please," Namjoon asked.  Hoseok obeyed.

Hoseok was about to start his first ultrasound, accompanied by his partner.  They had a white-walled room, it wasn't very big, it had a small bed in the middle, and some curious-looking machines and computers.  The doctor took a little of some kind of substance, and said:

"I will put some gel for the ultrasound" he began to spread the substance on the belly of Hoseok, who let out a slight moan.  "Sorry, it's a bit cold."

After spreading the gel, Namjoon took a small device and began to pass it over the omega's abdomen, while he saw a screen next to him, looking for something, or rather, someone.  Soon after, his expression changed, he frowned, and Taehyung worried that it might mean something bad.

"Do you have any preferences about the sex of the baby?"  he asked, turning to see the couple.

"He says it will be a boy, but I know it will be a girl," Taehyung replied.

"Well, actually," he smiled. "you are right, it is a girl.

'Ha!  I knew it!"

"And a child."

"That!?"

"Congratulations, you will have twins. Namjoon moved the device a little in his hands and some spots appeared on the monitor."  There they are, he pointed them out.

That was just a bunch of blurry spots, mixed black and white, and he swore that if they hadn't told him, Taehyung wouldn't have known they were his children. Hoseok, on the other hand, stared at the screen in amazement, smiling until his eyes turned half moons.

"My babies ..." he murmured.  "My puppies ..."

After the ultrasound, Namjoon approached Taehyung to speak to him privately.

"Something happened?"  he asked at the doctor's strange behavior.

"Well, you see ... Hoseok is a male omega, and in these cases pregnancies tend to be much riskier," Namjoon said, scratching the back of his neck lightly.  "I myself experienced one with my partner ... Fortunately everything went well, but there were many risks in the process."

Taehyung was silent, serious.

"Just ... If Hoseok exhibits any unusual symptoms during his pregnancy, please let me know.  Let him come in for regular checkups on him, and make no effort.” The alpha "nodded.  "And above all, don't tell Hoseok.

"I ... Okay, I won't tell him."

"Thank you very much, until the next consultation."

"Bye, thank you, doctor."
