(Nobody's Pov:)

It was the next day of school, and Oliver really did not want to go. He did wear his usual clothes - his yellow shirt which had the words 'I'm on Fire!' written in black on the front, his orange trousers rolled up and yellow trainers - except he had a black jacket with a hood over his head, covering up the fact that he had been crying all night. As he walked into the sixth form common room, he saw Lumina sitting on a sofa wearing her usual orange tank top, fresh jeans, red trainers, and dark purple eyeshadow; she could obviously tell he wasn't ok. "Wow Ollie, you're really not feeling good," she said in shock, leaning her elbow against a pole. "N-no," stuttered Oliver, hugging himself. "Come here," Lumina instructed. With that, she hugged him in a comfortable way; Oliver loved the way Lumina gave hugs. "So you two claim to be just friends, huh?" a voice came over. "Oh, shut up Nicola," replied Lumina, breaking out of the hug. "You know I like girls!" Nicola giggled. She had reddish-pink hair with blonde streaks (she's naturally blonde) tied in two bunches held with light chartreuse scrunchies. She wore her purple neck-high jacket, pink leggings showing her ankles, white socks with purple hems and lilac shoes.

"I know, I was just teasing!" she laughed, being followed by her's, Lumina's and Oliver's two other friends Stacey and Harley. "Why's he dressed like that?" added Nicola, pointing at Oliver. "Well... His dad died recently.." Lumina replied hesitantly. "My gosh, how awful!" cried Nicola, her face lit up dramatically. "Yeah, sorry," Harley added softly. Stacey however, just walked up to him and straight up hugged him. Oliver blushed; he had had feelings for her since the start of the year, but hadn't told her or anyone, but his friends could obviously tell he was falling for her. 'Her hugs are so loving...' he thought to himself. Just then, Nicola said out of the blue, "Ew." Stacey, puzzled, let go of the embrace, Oliver nervously smiling to himself. "What? He lost his father, he's probably sad!" exclaimed Stacey. "No, not that," Nicola tutted. "Look over there." The other 4 looked in the same direction and saw a girl with black hair with pink streaks let down with a ponytail. She wore a rainbow dress with straps and rainbow bracelets added. She had purple leather boots, pink eyes, and purple lipstick.

"Britney??" Harley said. "Yes, Britney," replied Nicola with disgust in her tone, her eyes frowning. Then, Britney noticed Oliver in his black hoodie and worried face, then walked up to the group. "Hey, Oliver," she started. "You seem kind of worried, are you alright?" "He's fine," Nicola chimed in. "he just chose to wear black today." "Ok, and?" said Britney. "It's not about his clothes, it's his face, he looks worried!" "Look, he's going through a really tough time right now and it's none of your business!" Nicola snapped, walking up to Britney. "So just go back to your dumb group and leave us alone!" "Alright then," Britney replied, still smiling. "I guess I'll find out someday." With that she then walked off back to her group. "Uggggg, I hate her!" groaned Nicola. Oliver knew Nicola and Britney despised each other since they were little, but they're hate somehow stayed the same for the past few years, except Nicola hated Britney way more. "To be honest, she was just checking up on me," Oliver stated. "Yeah," agreed Stacey, putting her hand around his shoulder, him started to nervously smile again. Nicola smirked, then said, "Well you know what she'll do if she finds out your dad's dead, Oliver, she'll tell everyone and you'll be swarmed for months, even if you get out of the stages of grief!"

"True," Lumina added, joining in with the smirking. "What?!" Oliver said stubbornly. "Oh, you know why," replied Lumina, standing with Nicola, also smirking. "What do you mean?" asked Stacey, still putting her arm on Oliver's shoulder. "Well you see," Explained Harley. "Oliver likes-" "Hugs!" Oliver interrupted quickly. "I like hugs, that's what she means." Stacey stared blankly at him. "OK then," she replied. "Let me know if you want one anytime, they're all free!" Just then, the bell rang for form. "Shoot," Nicola said. "Got to go," Stacey said to Oliver. "Hope you have a good day, Ollie!" She then walked off with Harley to their form room, Nicola following. Oliver and Lumina followed to. "So, you really like her, don't you?" Lumina asked, smirking. "Y-yeah..." stuttered Oliver, smiling. "I do..."
