As the light shone brightly, Spexx appeared from a shining blue forcefield. "Good to see you again, dear user," he said, stretching. "What do you want?" Darla sighed. "I'm at an important and very depressing ceremony, you know." "Ah yes, dear-" Spexx began, but then spoke in silence. "Oh yes, I remember, we can't say our guardians' names." "Guardians??" Darla repeated, confused. "wait, are you saying my uncle was your leader?!" "Well, it's a long story," replied Spexx. "anyways, I can feel all these memories of your uncle, such sadness, such sorrow! I feel like releasing all the memories of him to everyone-" "No, don't you dare," Darla interrupted, now shocked. "You're seriously not suggesting that I should use this talisman to summon my dead uncle's spirit amongst everyone????!!!!" "No, no, not if you don't feel like it," responded Spexx. "but it could give you an opportunity to learn your powers, you just need to control the spirit first, that's all." "Look, you can teach me later, I need to get back to my mom before she kicks my ass," Darla said. "Now, follow me, nobody will see you." With that, she unlocked the cubicle door, wrapped the necklace around her wrist and covered it with her sleeve, and walked back to the house.

"So, when would you like to use your powers, user?" Spexx asked, flying beside Darla. "When I feel like it," she replied. "And my name is Darla. Now come on, my mom will kill me." With that, Spexx stopped talking and followed his new owner. The farewell party was held in Nevaeh and Noelle's house, which was tall, a bit creepy and enchanting. Darla stepped inside, immediately cringing at the noise. There was sad music playing in the background and lots of adults drinking, talking, and mourning. "There you are," Clarice yelled, walking over to Darla. "how long did you spend in there??" "It was only a few seconds, mom, you don't need to overreact," replied Darla, walking away, grabbing a drink. "Here's a toast, to celebrate a life of a dear friend," Noelle began. "a husband, a father, a brother, a son, a friend, and most importantly my brother. To Nathaniel!" "To Nathaniel!" everyone else repeated, drinking. Darla then felt the same vibration from the necklace.

"Ugg," she groaned to herself. 'What does he want now??' With that, Darla crept away quietly, letting Spexx out. "Woo! It was hard to breathe in that piece of clothing of yours!" he cried. "Shh!" whispered Darla. "I know everyone else can't see or hear you, but I can so shush, people will think I'm weird." Back down at the party, Oliver was talking to Sandy. "I need to refill my drink," he said, walking over to the drinks area, when he noticed Darla walking upstairs, followed by a creature with indigo light surrounding it. "Is that an-an Airidan?!" he said to himself. "What did you just say?" someone asked behind. Frozen in shock, Oliver turned around and saw his mother, holding an empty wine glass. "Uhhh, nothing mother!" Oliver lied. "I had a hallucination of a mythical creature that I studied years ago!" "OK then," replied Farah, smiling. "you go off with Sandy, you two look like you're having a good time here." With that, Oliver refilled his drink and went back over to Sandy. 'Does he know about them?' Farah thought to herself.

Back upstairs, Darla was looking for an empty room. Finally finding a spare room with no bags or people inside, she locked the door and took the necklace off her wrist. "So, I guess I'm giving you another lesson on using your Talisman?" Spexx asked. "Well yes, Spexx, I've made up my mind," Darla began, smiling evily. "my mother always wants me to be like her, getting things for her and making sure I make her look good, but not for long. If this Talisman is as powerful as you say, then what if I can use it against her?" "Woah, woah, woah," Spexx interrupted. "you're really not going to use this power for evil, are you?" "Not evil," replied Darla, holding the necklace. "just for a little bit of revenge." "Hmmm, well as long as you don't cause major damage I guess you have free will," Spexx stated. "Now, follow carefully, wear the necklace and this will happen.." As Spexx explained, Darla put on the necklace, the pearl turning white & light blue from blue. "To transform, you have to say 'Spexx, Summon the Past'!" Spexx explained. "Spexx, Summon the Past!" called Darla. With that, Spexx's eyes glowed white and the pearl lit up, turning blue again, and began to transform.

After the transformation, Spexx's eyes returned to normal, and his face lit up in surprise; Darla was standing where she was, but in a completely different new look. Her skin was now light grey and she had green eyes with a dark green sclera, with cat-like pupils and wavy purple lines of magic coming from the sides of each eye. Her hair was down and wavy, also coloured black with blue faded into it. She had a long blue dress which covered her neck and had long blue sleeves with wide cuffs the backs of them coming up to the edge of her thigh. She had a long skirt with a train and a slit showing her right leg. The skirt was also faded from indigo to blue. She wore dark blue heels, had blue lipstick, had a whip wrapped around her waist, a glowing blue horn and had giant green wings. "D-Darla?" Spexx whimpered. "is that you?" "Well yeah, nobody else has been in this room," responded Darla, looking at her dress. "Now, I'm finding a mirror to see what I look like." With that, Darla searched the room and noticed a mirror above a dressing table, and headed over to it, Spexx following her. "Wow," Darla exclaimed, admiring herself. "I look gorgeous!" Suddenly, her necklace started glowing, and she and Spexx faces froze.

"I can feel all the memories of my uncle," stated Darla. "Me too," Spexx added. "I guess this is the time to summon some spirits!" "Yeah!" Darla exclaimed. "But how do I do it?" "Well, I guess it's time to use the Talisman's special power," replied Spexx. "it's called Spirit Awakening, and it allows you to summon a spirit that someone is thinking of, and you can use it to transform them into something if that person or object consumes it." "Seems legit," replies Darla, smiling. "let's try this! Spirit Awakening!" With that, the necklace glowed rapidly and a dark purple spirit with blue, glowing, evil looking eyes appeared from smoke. "Incredible!" Darla smiled. "Let's see what else I can do!" "Wait, Darla," Spexx interrupted. "I forgot to say something.." Darla sighed, and replied with "What?" "Well, you see, when you use your special power, you have to wait five minutes before you can use it again," Spexx explained nervously. "Ugg, why didn't you tell me before!" moaned Darla. "Anyways, I need a name for my new form.. I know, Mooroopna!" "Mooroopna??" repeated Spexx, confused. "What does that mean?" "It's a name meaning ghost or spirit," Darla responded. "Anyways, swarm, my spirit! And descend on these people's memories! Hahahahaha!" The spirit then slipped out of the door and entered downstairs to the party...
