Everyone was silent as we were all eating when out of nowhere Miles says
Miles: I don't wike it
The whole table erupted into laughter at Miles's cuteness, and we all finished eating Stella and Ally asked to go back into the bounce castle, and soon after Miles and Ethan went out and joined them
Everyone started to disperse from the porch and started setting up the party before the guest arrived, I was watching the kids play when Chris walked over to me
Chris: Hey
Y/N: Hey, shouldn't you be helping?
Chris: Nah, they've got it, they don't need me, so uh can we take a walk?
Y/N: Sure
Chris: About this morning, I know we said we'll take about it later when Ally is in bed, but I just can't get that kiss out of my head
Y/N: Did you mean it when you said that you want to settle down with someone?
Chris: Yeah, I am 40, I think it's about time I do so, why did you ask?
Y/N: When you said it you looked at me the entire time, what I'm trying to say is, do you like me, Chris?
Chris: Yeah, you're sweet and kind and an amazing person, I like having you as a neighbour
Y/N: No, Chris not like that, I mean as in more than just a neighbour or friend
Chris: I do, I really do Y/N, and I was hoping you would go on a date with me
