Jungkook's P.O.V

Ja Yoo will be visiting my office today. I decide to have this talk somewhere private. I know if I to go her office, Han Jin would wanna hear and know. But I did promise Ja Yoo lunch so, right after the talk, we'll have lunch. I am quite nervous. Someone knocks on my door.

"Come in." - i said. They open the door and it's my secretary with Ja Yoo. I stand up and smile.

"Ms Kim is here to see you." - my secretary said. I nod and thank her. She leaves my room, closing the door.

"Hi." - Ja Yoo greeted me with a wide smile. I can't help but to smile widely too.

"Hey." - i said, walking towards her. She immediately gives me a hug. I hug her back, smiling on my own. It feels right to have her in my arms. We break the hug, and I lead her to the sofa. We sit next to each other. I grab her left hand, to intertwine it with mine but I realise the ring.

"Y'all engaged?" - I asked. She smiles and nods. My heart weirdly hurts but my lips force a smile.

"Congratulations." - i said.

"Which leads to us. Can I ask you again, what are we?" - I asked. Ja Yoo look at me, her smile fading away. She sigh.

"Was it my fault that I kissed you?" - I asked.

"No. Don't say that." - Ja Yoo said.

"I know we're confusing right now. I am confused too. I have a fiancée now, Bang Chan and I have more than just a moment nor a kiss. You, I find attractive." - Ja Yoo said.

"I'm sorry for making you have hopes for me because no matter what, I'm marrying Han Jin." - she said. It was hard for me to breathe when she said that.

"But, I can't seem to let go of you. Or even Bang Chan." - she added. I sigh. I just gotta stop texting or meeting or kissing her. I don't have the courage to say it to her but I'll just slowly fade away from her life. That alone, is hurting me.

"Let's just have lunch." - i said, getting up.

Ja Yoo's P.O.V

I sigh, feeling bad. Should I stop contacting Jungkook and Chan? If I'm gonna marry Han Jin, I wanna stop and I have to stop because breaking off is not what I've ever thought about. I hear a knock coming from my door. I look up, seeing Han Jin walking in my room.

"Hi babe." - she said.

"Um. Hi." - i said. She walks towards the seat across me and sit down.

"I know I'm late to return to the office after lunch. I'm sorry." - she said.

"I didn't even realise the time." - i said, looking at the wall clock. It's 3.30 pm. Han Jin is supposed to be in back an hour ago.

"I'm not mad at you, babe." - I said.

"Are you sure? Your face expression says the opposite." - she said.

"No I'm just thinking about some stuff."

"Why are you late though? Did you and Chan had a good time?" - I asked, smirking. Han Jin widened her eyes and shook her head. I laugh, standing up and walk to the sofas. I sit down and Han Jin joins me. Yes, Han Jin and Chan had lunch together and I know. My lady knows I had lunch with Jungkook too.

"No. I mean he has lots of things to talk, to share. I didn't realise the timing at all." - Han Jin explains. I giggle.

"He's a chatterbox, honestly." - i said, smiling.

"So when are we doing the big day?" - Han Jin asks.

"It's best we meet each other parents first, babe. Get their blessings, after that we can plan." - I said. Han Jin nods, agreeing. Our 3 days staycation after proposing, we talk about how we wish we want our wedding to be. We also plan to do it in LA. So means, it is a huge 'project'. We've told Hanna about this and she is excited. She did ask lots of questions about it.

"Did Chan see the ring?" - I asked. Han Jin nods. I'm sure it's hurting him.

"What did he say?"

"He congratulated us but I can't seem to read his face. It doesn't show happiness nor sadness. I'm not sure." - Han Jin said. I let out a low sigh.

"Oh that reminds me, I have to call our client." - Han Jin said. She gets up, leaving my room. I hear the door close and I let out a sigh. I got up, grabbing my phone. I got a text from Chan. Oh dang it.

'From: babe chan x
congratulations babe. i am so happy for you.'

I sigh.

'To: babe chan x
i know you're saying that not sincerely. let's meet tonight. on the 17th floor. make sure you're there, I'll be waiting.'

The fact that I know Chan and Jungkook is not sincere to congratulate our engagement. I could tell. Jungkook is just forcing a smile. I am a bit triggered that the sex, the kiss, effects them so much as much as it effects me. Because not only I enjoyed it, I don't want it to stop.

I got up from the sofa and sit on my office chair. I open the drawer on my desk, taking the peach colored envelope. I open it and take the paper out of it.

'Dear <3,

I had a good time with you. You're funny and lovely. But I'm sorry, Kim Free. I have a boyfriend that I love a lot. We're getting married this coming week. I'm sorry if I played with your heart. I didn't mean to. But one day, you'll find your one and only. Here's the address to my wedding. Do come if you want too. xoxo

I sigh after reading the letter. As much as we were nothing, at least she considers me as a girlfriend. Yes before Han Jin, I have another lady. But we didn't date or have a relationship. We only had sex and our relationship is just good friends. I tried not to fall for her but I failed. She was one of a kind, an angel.

I wonder how is she now. I've not talk to her ever since I received this letter. I got too hurt, I stop. I didn't even went to her wedding because it will only hurt me. I just hope she's doing well and living the best life with her husband. Do I hate her? No. She made me feel what Chan felt when I left him. Which is a good thing for me. It is what I deserve to feel. And fuck, it really hurts. You won't know how it feels until you experience it.

Hey y'all! So sorry for not updating 😭 i am sorry dudes! Been busy with my new hobby 😂 ive been going fishing almost every weekend! But I'm not complaining because i do love fishing! It's definitely a family bonding time.

Okay back to the story. How Ja Yoo had a lady before Han Jin? That's a shocker! And now, them sexy ladies are engaged! Yay!
