Y/n: Edward?

Edward: y/n hey!

He try's to go in for a hug but I keep my arms down.

Edward: wow you look good how are you doing?

Y/n: I'm better now.

Edward: that's good uh sorry y/n this is-

Y/n: Makayla right?

Edward: uh yeah.

Makayla: hey y/n good to see you again.

Y/n: I wish I could say the same. Oh sorry this is Corpse.

Edward: did you come here with him?

Y/n: I did.

Corpse: hey man nice to meet you.

Corpse approached Edward to give him a hand shake. Edward was hesitant at first but he eventually gave him a hand shake.

Y/n: Corpse this is Edward my uh ex boyfriend.

Corpse: oh right ok.

Edward: hey maybe we should go on a double date or something?

Y/n: I'm sorry I'll pass but Makayla and Edward I hope you guys enjoy your movie we actually have to go so.

Edward: right yeah didn't mean to hold you up. Corpse nice to meet you and I'll see you around y/n.

I grab corpse hand and make our way out of the theater. Out of all the people who could've bumped into me tonight it had to be him and of course he's still with Makayla I'm not surprised. I'm just glad that's over with. We walked to the car and drove to my house. The car ride was silent I guess we just didn't know what to say. After a while we finally arrived to my house. I didn't want things to be awkward between Corpse and I, but I know he's going to want to know more about me and Edward past relationship. I'm just a little afraid to let my guard down.

Corpse: are you ok?

Y/n: yeah I'm fine it's just seeing him brought back some old emotions.

Corpse: do you still love him?

Y/n: no my feelings for him are long gone it's just he put me through a lot and I tried to keep my composure in front of you.

Corpse: listen y/n I don't know what happened between you and him. It's not my place to ask you about him. You can tell me whatever you want. I won't rush you into doing anything, just know you can tell me whenever your ready.

Y/n: thanks I appreciate it. It's just ever since him and I broke up I've kept my guard up, and honestly I'm afraid to let them down.

Corpse: I get how you feel. I was just like that in my last relationship. I kept my guard up and eventually I met someone who help me break them down.

Y/n: you did?

Corpse: yeah it's not impossible but it's not something that someone can make you do.

Y/n: yeah you're right. I want to tell you everything just give me some time.

Corpse: of course I'm not rushing you. You take your time, until then we can hang out like usual.

Y/n: oh right and the date you mention earlier.

Corpse: yeah when are you free?

Y/n: I'm free basically anytime. I work tomorrow but I'll be working from home. What about you what time do you get off tomorrow?

Corpse: well I'm not sure I can ask Jackson to cover for me at work.

Y/n: alright well I guess I'll see you tomorrow.

Corpse: yeah see you tomorrow.

I gave him a quick kiss and left. I walk inside my house and get ready for bed, but before I actually go to sleep I decided to look through Corpse Instagram. I actually never had the time to actually see what he posts. I clicked his profile and it's not much on here. I clicked on a picture of him holding a electric guitar looks like he posted this almost a year ago. I go through the comments. Until I saw a girl comment "you're so sexy babe love you" I clicked on her profile and her name was Emma Williams...
