Corpse: what the hell?

Jackson: next time you should be more careful, following you was easy

Corpse: Jackson I-

Jackson: don't even think about getting near me. I have someone at my house that's watching my every move.

Corpse: I can explain.

Jackson: go ahead explain how you killed a man.

Corpse: it wasn't on purpose! It was self defense.

Jackson: right, like I'm going to believe you. Look corpse you have two options here. You can either tell y/n what you did, or I'll just tell the police myself. It's your choice.

Corpse: ok fine I'll tell her.

Jackson: great you have 24 hours to do so.

Corpse: how did you find out?

Jackson: I followed you here from y/n's house. I was going to talk to y/n but I saw you leaving her house so I followed you here. I saw you digging and it didn't take me long to find out.

Corpse: I-

Jackson: look I'm not interested in what you have to say. Just tell y/n the truth she deserves it. Oh and once she finds outs how horrible you are I'll be there for her. Like I always have been.

Corpse: I'll tell her.

Jackson: good the clock is ticking.

And just like that he drives off. Damnit how could I have been so careless! I rushed here without seeing if I got followed. This is all my fault. I have to tell y/n she deserves the truth. I'm going to be in prison for a long time. It's fine I did this I killed Edward it's time I face the consequences.

I grab my things and head back to y/n's house. Im ready for her reaction. I knocked on the door and she opens it with a smile on her face.

Y/n: hey I thought you went home.

Corpse: no I uh I need to talk to you about something.

Y/n: alright come on in. So what's up?

Corpse: before I tell you I just wanted you to know that I love you so much and I will always protect you. Everything I do is to protect you and make you happy.

Y/n: I love you too, what's going on?

Corpse: I'm just going to rip the bandaid.... Ok the reason Edward is missing is because of me. 4 months ago when I dropped you off at Jackson's house I went by your house to see if Edward was going to be there. I did find him there and we fought. He told me that he was in love with you and wanted you back. I got so angry. While we were fighting I backed him into a corner and I started choking him. My anger got the best of me and I chocked him harder. Then I realized he stopped moving. I-I killed him. I keep telling myself it was self defense but no. I did it because he was a threat to us. I didn't want anything ruining our relationship.

Y/n:...

Corpse: I know it's a lot to take in and I understand if you want nothing to do with me. What I did was unforgivable. I won't blame if you call the cops on me. I want my last minutes of freedom to be with you.

Y/n: you- you killed Edward, for me?

Corpse: I did and I'll do that to anyone who trying to hurt you. I don't regret anything.

Y/n: I-

Corpse: y/n talk to me, please.

Y/n: I understand.
