The morning after my implied breakup with Wanda – to be fair, her and I hadn't discussed it. I had lost control of my powers and Natasha had taken me away, after traumatizing Peter who overheard the whole thing. Natasha and I had stayed up most of the night laughing, watching movies and taking the piss out of each other. We finally drifted off around 4, catching a few hours of sleep before commotion in the kitchen woke us up. We made our way downstairs, and Natasha put a hand out to stop me as she glanced around the corner into the kitchen. I caught glimpses of brown hair, the sound of someone muttering, accent clearly present. Wanda. I jumped as a pan clattered down on the counter. Natasha and I peeked our heads around the corner of the room, watching in shock as she paced the length of the counter, muttering to herself. "Wanda?" I asked hesitantly. Her green eyes snapped up to mine.

"Kasey! I was down here, I was going to make...I wanted to tell you..." she couldn't decide on a sentence to lead with, and I held my hands up trying to be merciful.

"Wanda, it's fine. You're fine. I want you to be happy with Vision." Wanda gaped at me a few moments before turning to Natasha.

"You can leave now, Romanoff." Her accent was thick and pronounced, and her eyes flashed red briefly as she starred daggers at my best friend. Natasha didn't move a muscle except to raise a single eyebrow and tilt a single corner of her mouth up into a smirk. Then she folded her arms across her chest.

"I'm not going anywhere, Maximoff," she said softly. Natasha was one of those people – the quieter and calmer she became, the deeper the shit you were in. Wanda turned her body towards Natasha, a cloud of red mist gathering in her fist.

"Back off, Natasha," she warned. Natasha rolled her shoulders forward, assuming a fighting stance. I stepped quickly between the two of them.

"Wanda, we're done," I said firmly, catching her eyes and keeping them. Her eyes glossed over and she looked as though she was going to speak but only bit her bottom lip instead, nodding slightly. I turned to leave, grabbing Natasha's shoulder and pulling her with me. She suddenly stopped in her tracks.

"Let me explain something to you, Maximoff." There was no margin of error in her tone. "Kasey is my best friend, and there is nothing – literally nothing – I wouldn't do to protect her. All of her. From anyone." I reached down, grabbing hold of Natasha's fingers and squeezing them lightly. "Do you understand me?" I glanced back in Wanda, and for the first time I saw something resembling fear in them. Natasha wasn't bluffing. She nodded, and as she did, Natasha finally let me pull her away from the kitchen towards our rooms. She huffed as she walked. "The fucking nerve of her," she mumbled. I glanced at her and smiled wide, still holding her hand.

"I love you, Natasha." She grinned up at me like an excited child.

"Love you too, Winter."

...

When I woke up the next morning, I realized quickly that Yelena was not still in bed beside me. Shit. I shot upright, glancing around the room, recognizing that I was alone in it, and the door to the rest of the cabin was shut tight. Shit, again. I listened closely, and I didn't hear anything resembling screaming or violence, so I paused and took a deep breath, relatively certain that neither of the two women out there were on the verge of imminent death. I scrambled to find a pair of joggers and a t-shirt – I think it was Yelena's, but I couldn't really tell the difference anymore. I opened the door as quietly as I could, peering out into the living room curiously. I couldn't see...wait. I squinted, staring off into the darkness and found Yelena and Wanda sitting together on the couch, having what looked like a friendly conversation over coffee. What kind of fucked up alternate reality had I woken up in? I walked into the room and cleared my throat softly. Both women immediately hyper focused their attention on me. Triple shit. "Are we good?" I asked quietly as I approached them. They looked at each other and smiled before turning back towards me. Wanda chuckled softly.

"Everything's fine, Winter. I was just getting to know your girlfriend." Yelena and I exchanged awkward glances and shared twin blushes which Wanda noticed immediately. She chuckles again. "Adorable." She got to her feet, patting Yelena on the shoulder. "I'm going into town to get some stuff. I'll leave you two...to...I don't want to know." She smirked at me, and I felt the blush deepening. I didn't think that was possible. "I'll be back in a few hours." Before I could respond, I turned to find Yelena coming towards me, taking my face in her hands and kissing me softly. I immediately wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her into me. "I'm still here you know," Wanda smirked behind us. I reluctantly broke apart from Yelena and pulled her arms around my middle as I leaned against her front.

"Have a good time, Wanda," I smirked. She winked at me, knowingly.

"You too." Yelena squeezed me tight as Wanda waved goodbye, exiting the cabin and shutting the door softly behind her. I spun to face the blond behind me.

"What are you doing?" I grinned up at her, watching her hazel eyes twinkle at me. She shook her head, refusing to answer. I rolled my eyes and tried again. "What were you and Wanda talking about?" Yelena's head lowered and her lips were inches from mine, which made me squirm.

"You." I pushed her away gently, but grinned at her regardless.

"You did not," I chuckled. Her eyes sparkled when she looked at me.

"Oh, we did." I stared at her, trying to figure out whether or not she was telling the truth, but I couldn't read her.

"What about me?" Yelena started walking towards me and I gulped. She shrugged her shoulders, moving in a way that was guiding me back towards our bedroom as I continued to back away from her.

"I like her, she was really...helpful." Yelena smirked as I backed directly into the door frame, exhaling sharply.

"Oh, yeah?" She continued advancing, her hand resting on the doorframe above my head as she moved in close, trapping me in place. She smiled down at me before leaning in and kissing me softly. I squirmed against her, she was driving me crazy and she didn't even know. Our lips finally broke apart, and she tilted my chin up to make me look at her.

"I want you, Kasey." She murmured softly, her eyes moving steadily between my eyes and my lips. I felt myself shaking against her already.

"You have me." Yelena smashed her lips against mine, pressing me against the doorframe, and there was nothing I could do but give in to her completely.
