KAYLA
While waiting for class to start my dance teacher, Mrs. Lea, made an announcement.
"Okay class, we have two new students joining our class. Try not to tear them apart please. I don't get paid to rip screaming girls off of my students."
Mrs. Lea is the best teacher at the whole school. She is the most creative dancer I've ever seen! Mrs. Lea just got married to some beautiful, conceited guy named Roger Jefferson. He doesn't deserve her at all!
Roc Royal and RayRay walked into the room. All the thirsty girls started screaming and hollering. I was ecstatic too but I wasn't going to scream for them. Out loud at least. I was really mentally screaming.
"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that Mindless Behavior are new exchange students," Justice tells me.
"Seriously?! Now you tell me?!"
"Okay class. We are starting our hip hop unit today. We will be making choreography to any song as long as it has minimal profanity. I actually like my job."
Everyone got a partner except for me of course. I turned to see if Justice had a partner and as usual she did. She was partners with RayRay.
I looked around the class to see who was left. Mrs. Lea made sure she had enough girls to guys in the class. This semester is partner dancing.
I saw Roc Royal sitting against the mirrors without a partner. Wow, this is very surprising. He was probably shooing off every girl that asked him to dance. He would shoo me off too but its worth the try.
"Hey Roc, you don't have a partner," I say as confidently as I can. "Yeah. Neither do you. You should be my partner. If you want to I mean." That mental scream again. "Yeah great. What song were you thinking," I ask him. "Well I was thinking 2 on by tinashe." He literally took the song out of my head. "Great let's get to it."

I look over at Justice to see what she was doing. She was having a fun time grinding on RayRay. The little freak. I laughed to myself at her. Well maybe not to myself. "What's so funny? Am I dancing weird," Roc asks me with a smile. "No. Not at all. Its my friend and your friend dancing that's making me laugh." He glances over at them and laughs too. He puts the music back on so we could start dancing.
When we finished the whole routine Mrs. Lea did a step dance that signified us to be quiet. "Who wants to go first? Remember you guys have to be good because this is for a grade." As soon as she finished her last sentence RayRay shot his hand up in the air. "We will go first," he blurts out earning a light punch from Justice. "Ugh. Fine."
They finish their dance to Loyal by Chris Brown which by the way was very on point. It makes me not was to do me and Roc's- "We will go next," Roc says interrupting my thoughts. We got up and did our dance. When we got to the grinding part of the dance the door started rattling. Who the hell is banging on the door like that?
Chris. Of course who else else would it be?
"Who is that," Roc ask. "It is my boyfriend unfortunately. As much as I don't want him to be he is." Roc looked at me with a surprised expression. "I'm sorry I didn't know." Justice angrily stood up. "I would stick my foot up his ass but he his head is blocking the way." Always making me laugh that Justice. "Cmon. I need a good grade in the class," I say to Roc.
We restart the whole routine and by the time we finished the bell rang. I have perfect timing. Everyone started filing out the class
Just before I was about to walk out of the door, a hand grabs my wrist. I turn to see Roc's innocent face. He's lucky I turned to look first otherwise I would've rocked him.
"Hey I'm sorry for what happened in class," I apologize. "It's cool." I never noticed how sexy his voice was until now. I stare at his moving lips, mesmerized. He stopped for a second then laughed. "You weren't paying attention at all," he said. "Sorry. You can sit with me and the squad at lunch if you want." Say yes, say yes.
"Sure." Score!! Keep your composure Kayla. "You have to go through squad initiation though," I say smirking. Well played well played. "Who says I want to be in your squad," he retorted. "Trust me you do."
And with that note I walked away. Before I reached the door I was pulled back again. Deja vu or nah. Roc was looking into my eyes waiting for an answer to his unspoken question. "It's Makayla but call me Kayla," I answer. "Kayla. Nice name. Simple but bold." I was about to stutter out a thank you but was interrupted by his lips connecting with mine. Double score!!
"See you at lunch," Roc says and winks at me before walking out the door. I moonwalked out the dance studio. Soon I bumped into someone. "Oh. Im sor-," I cut myself off.
Chris. Here we go.
"What was that?!" I dont have time for this. "Dancing. You know the thing you do in dance class," I say sarcastically. "Don't do it again. And I saw you and Roc making out just now. I'll beat him up later." What an ass. "Its funny how I know him for less than a day and he trust me more than you who I've known for over 5 years. I'm pretty sure im dating Chris not King Kong. Have some sense would you?" I turned around and started to walk away but Chris pulled me back by my waist. "Dude let g- " He kissed me gently then got rougher. Im supposed to be mad at him. Ugh, men.
I guess he sensed me leaning into it because he smiled against my lips. He kissed my neck and kept moving downwards. I know he was teasing me. He pulled away just as I was beginning to kiss him back. "Don't forget that Kayla. I can give you more than he could ever give you." He leaned down towards me and whispered in my ear, " Whether its physical, mental, or sexual, I can give it to you."
He walked away towards the direction of the cafeteria. Kissed by two hot guys in less than 10 minutes. New record.
