Empty memory

Jungkook and Taehyung mutually agreed to erase each other from their minds. After they broke up, the whole group's atmosphere had went downhill.

As their friends reluctantly agreed to the plan and help them to never meet or know each other again, only the two of them knows they're still deeply in love with each other.

BTS announced a year of hiatus and Kim Taehyung planning to leave the group. It left the fans devastated and some even try to speculate what might be the cause but they all slowly accepted it since they never got a clear answer other than,

"Something serious happened that we just can't share to the world. As much as we want to tell you the reason, it will be better for this to be kept privately. I hope you all understand our situation right now. Please remember that we will always love you Army. See you again."

Their leader, Namjoon tweeted just two hours ago.

"Hyung..." he called out to Jin.

"What's gonna happen now?" Namjoon look up while holding his phone, his notifications going off.

"Just as they said. To never let them meet each other again." Jin simply said.

"But hyung isn't this a bit I don't know..... a bad idea? They might regret this later on!" Namjoon said, raising his voice a bit.

"Time will tell Joon. If they were to meet again, then that's just fate. That.....we can't fight against all odds." Jin looked at the leader as he lean in for a hug.

"If it's meant to be, it will come back."

During the procedure of removing each other's existence on their minds, they had blocked each other from their private social media accounts, deleted each other's number and any form of memories that can brought up their relationship was erased, all stored away to dust.

Taehyung made Jimin swore to never let him meet Jungkook ever again as the younger did to Hoseok too.

And to say the least, the first two months was going well. Taehyung have been venturing different art galleries in Italy with Jimin. Well as Jungkook, he stayed in Seoul working stuff for himself, releasing new song as a solo artist and many more. They were off each other's mind just as they planned.

But there was never a day where they felt full.

Full of joy or contentment. There was nothing.

It felt like a hole was jabbed in their heart and minds that they can't explain into words.

Everytime Taehyung goes in his Twitter account, he always wonder why were there so many words muted on it but the one that caught his attention was the name,

"Jungkook"

He had never heard of that name before but it felt like he knew someone that would have that name. When he asked Jimin if he knew anyone named Jungkook, all he did was laugh and said,

"You must be tripping Taehyung."

Or when he found a cassette on one of the boxes in his bedroom, he felt as though it was calling to him and so he did, he listened to it. All he heard was an angelic voice singing to the song "Nothing like us". It became a daily thing for him to listen to the man singing at least once a day.

Even when he found a simple black hoodie, hanged way back on his closet. When he grabbed it, he felt a sense of attachment to it. The smell on the hoodie felt so comfortable that a tear escape in Taehyung's eyes.

Or simply when he's going to sleep, he notice that something is keeping him from sleeping peacefully. As if there was always a way for him to be able to just sleep.
