Chapter 23

Being happy can make time flies so fast than the normal. It’s like waking up very happy everyday and contented with the life we had.

"Ayoko na nga, love! Nakakainis ka naman eh! You always laugh everytime I fell on the water! Ang pangit mo talaga kabonding!" Inis na sambit ko habang naglalakad papuntang dalampasigan.

Three days had passed at nakauwi na siya galing Manila. He also explain what happened at talagang hanggang ngayon kumukulo pa rin ang dugo ko sa Nicole na ‘yon. Talandi ng gaga. May balak pang magbakasyon dito sa Cebu kasi tapos na raw ang runway fashion show. Giatay!

We’re at the beach near the Montréal towers and he’s teaching me how to surf since it his favorite sports.

Ang pangit din kabonding nung dagat at surfboard. Ayaw makipag cooperate. Siraulo ba naman, hindi pa nga ako nakakatayo mula sa pagkakadapa sa board, nalaglag na ako. Tapos tawa pa nang tawa si CJ, parang ‘di ako girlfriend sa lakas maka asar. Hiwalayan ko kaya ‘to.

"Love sorry na." He said seriously but I can sense that he’s about to laugh any second.

Busangot pa rin ako nang humarap sa kanya. "Sorry, sorry ka riyan. Sorry daw tapos mamaya pipilitin na naman akong mag surg tapos kapag nalaglag, pagtatawanan ako. Nakakainis!" I murmured.

He stop me from walking and grab my waist to pin me in lounger. He sat on my lounger and made sat on his lap. Nakaharap ako sa kanya na nakadugtong ang kilay.

"What?" He chuckled and raise his two hands, sign of surrendering. "I’m sorry okay? It’s just that you’re so cute everytime you fell,"

"Sige ulitin mo pa, ulitin mo pa ha. Ang saya mo naman, Chancellor," sarkastikong sabi ko at umirap.

He bit his lip and cup my chin to make me look at him. Hinuli niya ang mga mata ko at masuyo akong tinitigan. He softly look at me. Gone the playful side of him and just the soft CJ I love. He’s unpredictable sometimes. There are times that he’s cold and silent, just like the first time we met and some other time, he’s sweet and cheesy."

He caressed my cheeks. "Do you know how much you changed me?"

I look up to him. I can sense the seriousness in his voice and in his eyes.

"How?"

He smiled. "You changed me love. I don’t know how to smile—"

"Weh? Sinong pinagloloko mo Chancellor Janvick? Kahit kay Nicole?"

I mean my gosh! Really? Don’t know how to smile? Parang tanga minsan ‘tong boyfriend ko.

"Love," he groaned and kiss my lips hungrily. He slid his tounge inside my mouth and explore. "I know how to smile but I was just faking it. I just changed when I met you, I always smile everytime I’m with you, my real smile."

"Oh tapos?"

My ghad! Isang salita lang niya kinikilig na ako! I can feel butterflies in my stomach when I’m with him. Siya lang, siya lang talaga ang nagparamdam sa ‘kin ng ganito.

"Hindi ako madaldal. I’m always calm in everything. But when you just look at me, oh damn men, my knees always trembled."
