Chapter 24

Life is so precious so treasure it.

I smiled as I read it. Well part of it for me was true, another part was not. Life is precious, yes, but we also have to remember that life is bullshit. Being alive is bullshit. But yeah, maybe I was just hurting that’s why I can’t treasure my life like before.

"Love I want to eat ice cream,"

I scoffed. That endearment is a curse. Sumpa ‘yan and I bet after maibigay ni ateng girl ang sarili niya ay iiwan lang din ‘yan. Tss.

I frozed. No, don’t go there Isha. Saan ba nanggaling ‘yang music na ‘yan at ipapapatay ko! I was just chilling here pero andaming  istorbo.

I put my aviator on my head and sipped on my hot coffee. I’m on my favorite pastry shop. Araw araw ako rito because it’s located near the mountain. Yes it is! Overlooking view. Refreshing air. Peaceful. Love it.

Three years had passed. Three years had passed after those breaking moment of my life. I run and live my life to the fullest. Masaya pa palang mag isa. Dati, I was so determined to find someone who can fulfill me but I was wrong. Mas masayang mag isa. No heartaches and pain.

"Nandito ka na naman? Araw araw na ah!"

I laughed. "Oa mo ha! This is my favorite place! My haven!" I blinked.

No, please, mind please stop.

"How fucking dare you asshole! I thought you’re my haven from this chaotic world, from this chaotic life but I was wrong! You’re not my safe haven, not my safe place because you are my downfall! You broke me down! You stripped everything on me! You destroy me!"

"Ate Eli! Hoy gising!"

I blink and look at the girl in front of me.

"Huh?"

"Lutang ampota. Sabi ko ilibre mo ako nung chiskik na ‘yon!"

I laughed. "Gaga! Anong chiskis? Cheesecake hindi chiskik,"

Napakamot siya sa batok at umupo sa harap ko. "Ah basta ‘yon ‘te. Isa lang tapos kape isa, promise babayaran kita kapag may sweldo na ako."

"May libre bang binabayaran? Sabog ka na naman eh. Kulang ka ba sa tulog?"

Ngumuso siya. Ang cute. This girl never failed to make me laugh. Naalala ko kasi sa kanya sina—nevermind.

"Pasensiya ka naman ‘te ha? Giatay man gud ‘tong laki sa shop, lami kay sumbagon! (Kasi naman ‘yong lalaki sa shop, sarap suntukin)."

"Sino? Si Nando? Ano na naman ginawa sa ‘yo? Crush na crush ka talaga nun." I burst a laugh.

"Tangina." Umubo ubo siya. Nabilaukan yata. If I know crush niya rin si Nando.
