I found the courage,
And wrote down the words.
And yet, I'm still struggling,
To say who I was.
What I've become,
I no longer know.
Am I still human?
Or through life, I've transformed.
As a child, I remember,
There's hope in this world.
As an adult, I know,
It's not served for us all.
I've learnt and I felt,
That not all can be saved.
But if we could help one,
Life was worth all the pain.
Now, I cut my heart open,
And I gift it to you.
Though I'm scared and confused,
I know you are too.
Don't judge me too hard,
Don't think I am strong.
For I'm only a coin,
And two faces I own.
But the time has come,
You are flipping the coin,
To uncover the side,
Which I'm willing to show.
