They say love is like the season. It changes its form every time but comes back for the same thing. My love for him was like the changing seasons too. I loved him in different forms, but all my love was still for him and him alone.
In Summer, I loved him like the sun loves the ocean. I made sure to burn everyone else, who looked at him the wrong way, while at the same time, I made sure that he wouldn't receive a heat stroke and cooled him down in the form of cold water for him to dive into.
In the monsoon, I cried for him in the form of rain. Threatened who tried to harm him in the form of thunder. Flooded the village, a perfect reflection of his overflowing emotions. I made sure that he wouldn't be the one to be caught up on these.
In autumn, I would fall all over for him again. He was the ground that looked so warm for me with a promise to hold me and hide me in his warmth and keep there until our springs arrive. No matter how many times I fall for him, it never seemed enough to me.
In the brutal winter, I became the snow that blanketed him in my cold arms, because I was unable to feel the warmth from myself. I made sure he remained as warm as he could under the wooden coffin he was in.
When spring arrives, I watch over him as he walks the land in the form of a beautiful butterfly. I made sure this butterfly would be as beautiful as he was when alive as a human. Now as the spring ends his final time on earth does too.
Next summer, here he was in the garden of Eden, I made for a precious soul like him. I was the gardener and he was my butterfly. We were happy. After all, our love was just like the changing seasons. It changed the forms but always remained for only one.

For people who are confused, Ni-Ki is the keeper of nature and Jungwon is a dying cancer patient. Jungwon dies in Autumn and reincarnates as a butterfly for spring and lives his final life of reincarnation on earth by the end of the season. After he dies like a butterfly, he becomes a real human butterfly as he roams the garden of Eden that Ni-Ki created for just him while he was still a human.
Ni-Ki is grooming Jungwon as a butterfly here. It's toxicity because he made sure he died and reincarnated him as a butterfly so he could adorn his pretty garden as a butterfly in heaven. He only ever wanted him to come here so that he could be a butterfly making his garden prettier forever.
