A/N: Hey guys!!! This is one of the pre written ones that I wrote in March. I really want to edit my first chapters that are already posted because I've realised how rubbish they are and how different from what J.K.Rowling said was meant to happen, so as soon as I finish writing this book I will be editing all of it. I know that that was a very long authors note but I was gone for a few months, during which I hit 500 reads which is really awesome and thank you all so much! !!

Lily's POV

Today is the Hallowe'en Feast, and I'm really looking forward to it, especially because we're having a party after the Feast, where we can dress up. Before I found out I was a witch, I would always dress up as a stereotypical muggle witch, and go trick or treating with Petunia. Now, I can go with my friends, and there are rumours that on the third floor, we can go around the whole floor and knock on the paintings to get sweets. I hope it's true, because it will be so fun.

This year, I'm going to dress up as a witch as well, but it's going to look so much better. I found a spell that can make your skin any colour you want, and I'll make it green, I can Transfigure my nose to be bigger and I can have an actual broom. Also, I'll use the hat I wear for school.

In our last lesson of the day, Charms, I managed to finish first, again, and I got twenty five points. I think Charms and Potions are my best lessons, but History of Magic is my worst, like everyone else, probably because I fall asleep after about half an hour. I think we should get a new professor or he should get a new voice. Anyway, right after Charms, we (me, Alice, Marlene, Dorcas, Mary and Pandora) ran upstairs to our dorm, and began to get ready.

"Virdis cutis" I murmur, making my skin green. Then I use the engorgio spell to make my nose bigger, then I used a boil hex, after drinking a potion that stops them from hurting, and I also used a few spells to stop the broom from flying too high. I am actually very scared of heights, and if it wasn't Hallowe'en, I wouldn't get on a broom without kicking or screaming.

"Wow! Lily, your costume is amazing!" Complemented Mary.

"Thanks! You look great too!" I answered.

"Oi! Girls, we should go now, the Feast starts in three minutes." Came the voice of Dorcas.

"Coming!" I called.

We went down the stairs, and out the Common Room, then through a few short cuts, and we got to the Feast a minute before it started.

"Good Evening, everybody, students, teachers, ghosts, cats, dogs, owls, toads, rats, spiders, Peeves, witches, wizards, vampires, zombies, hags, giants, trolls, fairies, and last but not least, pumpkins!" Professor Dumbledore greeted.

With that, he clapped his hands and the food appeared, and the pumpkins started glowing. I started digging in, and then I heard a scream. It was a girl in Hufflepuff and she had a look of terror on her face, and was pointing upwards. Everybody looked up, and there were hundreds of spiders on the ceiling. As you can tell, there was a LOT of screaming.

"Calm down everyone, those are fake spiders, and they won't leave the ceiling, because they are stuck on permanently." Professor Dumbledore said, very calmly. Not many people seemed to care that they were fake, and carried on screaming. I saw that Potter and his gang were laughing at them.

"Potter! It was you guys wasn't it?" I demanded.

"Yes!" He spluttered in between laughs.

"What if the spiders didn't stay on the ceiling and fell on people's heads?"

"Well it would've been funnier, but Remus said people could have a heart attack from those things falling on them."

"Well I'm glad that at least one of you has a BRAIN!" I shouted.
