Niall's POV
My heart raced as I turned every corner, hoping to find that same doe eyed, heart shaped innocent face that I loved from the start. From the minute I saw her on that cruise, it changed my life forever. I may not have realised then, but she was the biggest part of my life- apart from the boys and my family. She was my everything.
But good things can't last forev- No, don't say that Niall. Keep on looking for her. You should never give up on who you love.
She needs you Niall.
I started to break out into a sprint, passing by lamp post after lamp post, alley after alley with no sign of my love.
"Slow down Niall!" Danielle cried out.
"Hop on Dani," I heard Liam reply. I stopped then, a little out of breath. I shot a look back at Liam who was letting Danielle mount on his back. He picked her up effortlessly, making Danielle squeal a little, and then they started running toward me.
At this moment of time, I was jealous of Liam. He has his girlfriend with her- unttouched, unharmed.
While I was searching for my kidnapped girlfriend, who was who-knows-where.
This was hopeless.
No don't give up now, Niall. Almost there.
Liam and Danielle trailed behind me as I sped up, the sound of my Converse's hitting the concrete paths, were the only sounds that were audible to me. I almost was on the verge of tearing out my shirt when I turned another alley, to find she was not there either.
"Aaararrrgh!" I screamed, collapsing on the pavement on my knees, my hands dropping to my sides.
I buried my face into the wedge of my two thighs, crying hopeless tears. Tears of hopelessness. I could feel Liam and Danielle's hands rubbing my back tenderly to comfort me, but their efforts weren't being of any help. But they did enlighten me that I still had friends I could rely on for anything- anything at all. They'll be there. Hopefully.
"Come on Niall. We have to keep moving to find her in this hell of a place," Liam encouraged, "We have to keep on going."
I lifted my head slowly from between my thighs and rubbed my eyes roughly before standing up and dusting my black jeans. Adrenaline coursed through my veins, making me feel like I could run at the speed of light, the feeling of invincibility.
"Let's go." I said bluntly. I continued jogging up the grey pavements, not even caring about passer-bys that stared at us from 24-hour corner stores or cafés.
Suddenly, a suspicious white van swerved at the curb of the street, almost loosing its balance. Then continued to speed down the roads of the foggy early morning. I stared at its back, having a gut feeling that the van was not a good one.
"Guys, we should follow that van. I don't like it," I spat, now running in the opposite direction in which the van sped off to.
"But-"
"Danielle, just trust me on this one. I think I saw someone in that one."
I then started to run full speed, almost banging into a flower pot or a rubbish bin. Chasing down the van was no doubt probably the fastest I've run, I had a feeling that this was probably going to be useful in finding her- at least I could use a spare van to get around faster right?
The van turned around another corner, unusually fast, making a screeching sound of the tyres swerving on the asphalt. I turned the corner seconds later still trying to make out the figure driving the vehicle. The dark figure had brown matted hair, was surely male. I couldn't see anything further, but I knew who this person was.
