Baley's POV
My phone rings next to me and I look over at it.
Bestie Gurl is calling.
I scramble to grab the phone and when I do I take a deep breath before answering.
"Hey Mabel whats up?" I ask, trying to be cool.
anytime that im around, texting, or on the phone with Mabel I get nervous. To be honest im just scared ill screw up again with her.
"Hey Baley... Quick question." she says and I sit back against the couch.
"Shoot."
"Harry isnt home right now and he wont be back until later tonight-"
"Why is that?" I ask.
"Since he isnt on tour he has to go and record in the studio almost all day." she explains.
"Oh okay. Continue."
"I was just wondering if... you maybe... you could..." she trails off.
"Just spit it out love." I chuckle.
"Go to my first birthing class with me."
Well thats definitly not what I expected.
"Baley?" her voice brings me back reality.
"Uhh I umm."
"I understand... I'll just go by myself. But hey how was your dads birthday?" she changes the subject.
"It was horrible but Mabel I didnt give you an answer." I tell her.
"Ohh."
"Yes. I'll go with you."
"Really?!" she exclaims. "Thank you so much! I did not want to go by myself. That would have been horrible."
"I bet." I laugh.
"Okay well I guess i'll pick you up in an hour." she says.
"Alright see you then."
"Thanks again Baley."
"Your welcome hon."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I throw my phone next to me and Look up at the ceiling. Well that was a conversation I never thought I would be having with her...
______________"That was the weirdest thing ive ever done." I say outloud as we walk out to the parking lot.
"Same here." Mabel blinks but then we look at each other and start laughing.
"Whoo." I shake my head, not able to wipe the grin off my face.
We walk to the car and get in.
"Want to get some icecream?" She asks as she puts the keys in the ignition.
"Its kind of chilly for icecream dont you think?" I ask as I buckle up.
"Yeah but im kind of craving ice cream right now." she smiles sheepishly and I smile at her.
"Than we shall get icecream to fill your needs."
She pulls the car out of the parking lot and then onto the road.
"Here plug in my phone." she tells me as she hands me her phone. "Put on some music."
I do what she says and soon Sheppard blares through the speakers.
"Find somone who really gives a fuck about me, someone who really gives a fuck about me." I sing and she laughs.
Soon we pull up to a red light and the song ends, switching to Nobody love by Tori Kelly. Mabel gasps and smacks her hand across my chest.
