Chapter thirty-eight

Mabel's POV

The garage door opens and slams shut, making me jump. I turn around in my seat to see Harry storm pass me, to the stairs.

"Harry are you okay?" I as as I get up.

He stops in his tracks and works around toward me.

"No I'm not okay! You ducking cheated on me!" He yells and I flinch.

"He kissed me I-"

"I saw the videos Mabel. You kissed him back." he growls.

"It meant nothing to me."

"Yeah and that girl that I fucked in Japan last month meant nothing to me too." His face goes pale and I blink back tears. "Mabel I-"

I walk past him up the stairs to our bedroom.

"Mabel I didn't mean it! I was just exaggerating!" He says as he follows me to the closet.

I grab a duffel bag off the top shelf and throw a bunch of random clothes in it.

"Please don't do this." his voice is strained like he's trying not to cry but unlike him I'm crying my eyes out.

"All he did was kiss me Harry! You had fucking sex with someone!" I shriek.

"I was Lying!" He tells me.

I take a deep breath and I close my eyes. "You swear?"

"I swear."

he hesitated.

I put the bag down and run my fingers through my hair. "Im sorry for kissing him. I really dont know what got into me."

He pulls me into a hug and I sniffle into his shirt.

"I forgive you, just please dont ever do it again." he whispers and I nod.

"I wont."

"Promise?" his voice cracks and I bite my lip.

"I promise." I feel horrible. I am the worse wife ever.

He pulls back so I can see his face and I burst into tears when I see his eyes are red.

"Im really sorry Harry. I didnt mean for it to happen. We were just hanging out and I was talking and he just kissed me and I-i"

"Shhh." he pulls me back into a hug and I cry into his chest.

He walks backwards to the bed and we both lay down. After a few minutes my cries turn into hiccups and my head hurts.

"Im so sorry." I whisper.

"Its okay Mabel. Just go to sleep." He tells me and I nod.

I burry my face into his neck as he rubs my back.

"Mabel."

I lean up enough to see his face.

"I love you."

I sigh of relief and lay my head on his chest again. "I love you too."

Its good to know that even when I do something stupid he still loves me.
