Theme Song Suggestions

Hello friends! I was reading while listening to music so I was thinking of what songs would match my stories and I thought I'd love to hear recommendations from you guys so I can make playlists for myself to enjoy the fictional worlds I created 😝

Warning: my recommendations have a LOT of Taylor Swift cuz I'm a Swiftie teehee.

1. Blind Date?

My song for Blind Date would be Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift and I swear it's not because of the TikTok trend—pls the lyrics literally describe Haeyi and Donghyuck's first actual date and their overnight trip.

He said "Let's get out of this town, drive out of the city, away from the crowds"; Donghyuck taking Haeyi out on their vacation so they didn't have to pretend for the crowd anymore.

I thought heaven can't help me now, nothing lasts forever; Haeyi's POV since she's in love with him but thinks she has to let him go.

Say you'll remember me, standing in a nice dress staring at the sunset, babe; literally when Donghyuck gave Haeyi that dress for their date 🥲

7 Days (a week 없어) by the Dreamies also gives me strong fake dating vibes in someway. Up From Here by WayV also has the same sweet vibes as Blind Date.

2. Dudezoned?

Taylor Swift's entire pre-Red discography. You Belong With Me. Enchanted. Love Story. All bestfriends-to-lovers excellence.

Also, the timeless classic: Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat. "Lucky I'm in love with my best friend", need I say more?

Another one is Fool by NCT 127. Just...the adorable secondhand embarrassment of the song is made for the book.

3. Unlikely?

Psycho by Red Velvet. "Hey now, We'll be okay." Need I say more?

Life Is Still Going On; this one isn't about their (soon to be) budding romance but more about the friendship they're forming while they're both going through difficult times.

Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift. The story is set in summer and Donghyuck looks so pretty like the devil sooooooo. Everything Has Changed too. What else... I'm pretty sure I have a lot for this story but I can't think of any.

4. Heartbreaker?

Not gonna lie... Break Your Heart by Taio Cruz is the first song that pops into my head esp since the MV is literally him and the female lead talking about how they were only going to break each other's hearts LMAO.

Gorgeous by Taylor Swift definitely. But Ready For It? PERFECT. "In the middle of night in my dreams, I know I'm gonna be with you, so I take my time. Are you ready for it?"

Woman Like Me by Little Mix describes Nami well, I think.

Movie Star by CIX has the story's vibes too. Literally every NCT hoe anthem too. I know I have a few more but they're not coming to me. 😭😭
