The Accidental Meeting

The family dinner

It's about 5am Saturday morning and James is already awake, ready for the day. At about 7am his mother phoned him and said that there is a family dinner that evening and he must bring someone with him, before he could say something his mother put down the phone.

Wondering who he could took to the dinner their was only one person on his mind the whole time, even though he barely know her. So he decided to go alone even though it will be a shame because he is the only one of the 3 siblings that is either not in a relationship or married. His youngest sister Joana is in a relationship with a very well known lawyer, then he which is the middle child is single and in no luck of love, then the oldest sibling, his brother are married to a successful actress that has been in quite in a few broadway shows, known as the Queen of stage.

As the day passed he arrived at the home he has grown up in for the last 21 years before he moved out and bought his own apartment in the busy streets of New York.

"Hello son, how have you been doing"  "Busy busy but good"  "Yes i hear your father tells me that there was an incident with the old accountant"  " Yes but luckily i have found someone that i think can do the job quite well"  "Oh is that so"  "Yes mother she starts Monday morning at 8am"  "Okay goodluck, but enough of the small talk"  "The others are in the dinning room"  "Go ahead son" . As he walks toward them he sees how happy his other siblings are with their partners and in that exact moment he wishes it could also be him holding Christina's hand. "Hello James" "Hello everyone, how have you'll been doing?"  "Good you know" his sister said.

Joana : "Now that everyone is here me and Zion has something to announce"

!! Drum roll please !!

We are engaged!

"Oh wow sweetheart when did this happen?" her mother asked, "Well actually just yesterday"  "I'm so excited for you guys"  "Congratulations sis" James said with some sadness in his heart. He thought to himself will i ever find someone that is going to except me for who i am and love me with all my flaws.

"Now it's only your turn James"  "Yes mother i know"
They all had a lovely dinner and it was almost 11pm, "I think I'll be on the way mother"  "Bye Mom, bye dad, bye ya'll.

When he got home he just fell right on his bed and passed out of exhaustion.
