The Accidental Meeting

The intensity

Monday morning at 6am sharp James awakes and thought he overslept, as he rushes out if bed his mind only goes back to Christina and to look perfect for her but also to stay professional. Nothing else has excited him this much in a long time and he was actually looking forward to go to work because he had new motivation to climb out of bed everyday.
As he is on his way to work his heart is pounding harder and harder out of his chest every second that he gets closer to work. As he stops in front of the building he thinks to himself "today is the day i ask her out" , but then remembers that it isn't really allowed too take out your fellow colleagues.

"Good Morning sir"

"Morning everyone, isn't it a lovely day today"

"Yes it is indeed, someone seems very cheerful"

"Yes it's always a good day to have a good day"

"Okay sir have a good day"

"Thank you, ohh and that reminds me we have meeting at 9am"

He walks to his office, knowing he will pass Christina, but needs to stay professional 'well only for now'.

"Morning Christina" he says with a knot in his stomach

"Morning Si..."

"James" he corrects her.

"Morning James, how was your night?"

"I had a nice chilled night with a glass of red wine and you?"

"Ah i see, you drink red wine"

"Yes is there something wrong with that"

"No not at all James, it's just interesting because i didn't picture you as someone that drinks red wine"

"Well i guess there is a lot of things you don't know about me" he says with a little smirk.

He walks off to his office while he thinks of how perfect her lips would be against his, but quickly snaps out of it because he know he must stay professional and can't lose her at work and also outside of work. He sits down on his chair and decides to do some social media stalking on Christina. As he looks through social media he discovers that she is a part-time model, "fuck" he says softly under his breath while scrolling through her pictures and think to himself "how hot can a person get, definitely not hotter than Christina".
The intensity between them grows everyday more and more, and James wonders how much longer he could last.
