okay, firstly. This one isnt finished
'wow omg what about karlnap' I KNOW I KNOW BUT everytime i tried to write i was demotivated and recently everything irl hasnt been that great to me so i just took a long break for a bit :(
i know i promised karlnap and i'll probably finish this at some point and im sorry but i wanted to work more on my mental health, as should all of you

There are egotistical people, then there's Sapnap.
He was probably the biggest-egoed man ever, and he wasn't afraid to admit it. He was always pushing his friends to be better than him.
"Not that it's possible!" He would say, and for the most part the statement carried truth, and he had no issue with winning, to his friends' dismay, but it never got serious.

Until he met up with a certain someone, Karl Jacobs.

Karl was funny and lighthearted with everything he did, so it was no surprise when it started to tick Sapnap off in real life.
The small shoves and lowkey flexing of his house made Sapnap feel all but calm, cold breath hitting his upper lip in hints of anger.
Not that he regretted meeting up with Karl, he was one of Sapnap's best friends and he would easily do anything for him.
He would, as easily, completely ruin the man if he could, by any means.

And usually he didn't let people like this get to him, Dream was his best friend and there was never a time where he got this pissed.

And he was always with the older, all the time, with barely any minutes alone in his own room after waking up before a tip-toeing Karl came to his side to nudge him over in the bed, before silently slipping next to him and lying on his side to watch the other.
Karl did that alot, he was very pleased by the idea of being showered with physical affection as well as showing the same love back.

But when it was like this, with Karl's loud laughter teasing him, he didn't know whether he wanted to punch Karl or really put him in his place; to see if choked screams would be as loud as his laugh.

It was a JackBox lobby, because of course it was.
They were playing Rap City, and Sapnap was just on the brink of winning.
"Chat! Chat vote for me!" It was a loud yell ending with a loud giggle tearing his eardrums, and he groaned at the call out, turning to Karl with a look of annoyance. "Karl, you're swaying votes!" He groaned, the hand that wasn't on his phone rapping against his own thigh lightly.
"Oo-" Dream teased, "here comes Sapnap. I bet Karl's so scared."
"I am," Karl faked a shiver, "he's so scary and short," he giggled, wrapping a quick arm around Sapnap's neck, leaning into the younger.
Sapnap hummed quietly, tone edged on anger but covered and dusted with a laugh. "I'm, like, an inch shorter than you, shut up Karl."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," He laughed, typing in his final line before pressing finish on his phone.
Setting it faced down on the desk, he put his head on Sapnap's shoulder, peering over to his phone screen.

"Can you stop cheating, idiot?" Sapnap rolled his eyes, again covering his anger with a hand snaking around Karl's waist, sighing as he looked at chat.
Oh yeah, this will most definitely be in an edit soon.
"Oh look at the idiots!" George shouted, followed by a laughing Quackity and giggling Badboyhalo. "What are they doing, I wasn't paying attention," Dream answered honestly, letting his phone down to look at the time left.
The screen displayed '0:16'.
"They're pandering to get more points," George scoffed, "one of them will win cause chat thinks they're cute."

"We are cute," Karl corrected, "anyways I'm gonna beat Sap's ass at this." He disregarded the 'language' call to him, but lifted his head to pay attention to the lines being spoken.
Sapnap pinched Karl's lower back slightly, a tell-tale sign to tell Karl to 'Shut up.'
He'd done that same sign before, but he thinks this reaction tops others.
Karl's eyes widened ever-so-slightly, slowly leaning back for the jolt of pain again.
Sapnap wanted to scoff.
