Y/n POV
The Thomas's sit at the table with me and Watson following behind then we all start to eat Chinese when Watson goes " Well this chicken is amazing don't you think"

" Yup this is delicious" me and Sam say.
" well thank you Sam and, Y/n right?" Watson replies

" Yes it's great to meet you Mr Brewer" I say
" You too Y/n" Watson says then there is an unsettling pause before he says " Your Sam's girlfriend right? " then Sam spits out his rice and I start to kind of choke and then once I feel better I say " Oh no he is my best friend"
" yeah" Sam says
" apologies you guys just seem so close I thought you guys were dating" Watson says gesturing to the laughing he heard in Sam's room earlier. " well there not" Kristy says after being quiet for awhile

and then Watson says " On the bright side me and your mother have some exciting news." " Watson has asked to marry me !" Elizabeth said .
Everyone was quiet. Kristy looked like a volcano was about to erupt from inside of her.
" And you said no right ?" Kristy says with seriousness in her voice.

" Well I said that I was gonna talk about it with my family first and then- " Ms Brewer says but gets cut off by Kristy.

" No your not getting married to him"

" Its not really your call Kristy " Ms Brewer says

Then Kristy and her mom get into an argument and other than them the whole table is silent. Kristy gets super mad and storms off to her room and I hesitate but follow her. I follow Kristy to her room and sit down next to her on her bed.

" hey I get your mad about the marriage but there are bright sides to it" I say

" no there are no bright sides to a marriage like this , god ,my mom is baiscally a gold digger" Kristy says

" Hey she's not a gold digger she just found love and so what if it's with a guy who's rich he's a nice guy and I think you should give him a chance."

" I get you're trying to be nice Y/N but you don't get it"

I sigh " did I ever tell you about the time I had a complete wipeout on the ice?"

"No "

" well when I was six I had to try this new trick to try to get as many goals into the net as possible. Well I failed and instead of hitting a goal I fell and hit my arm hard in the ice and after that I had a broken arm for over a month."

" wow"
"I know so what i'm trying to say is that changes will happen either good or bad and you just got to deal with it"
