Y/n says with teenage angst written all over it.

" come on there are definitely things you like about your life" Kristy says forgetting about her mom's engagement which was Y/n's plan all along

" yeah I know there's Sam , my parents and my friends"

" the fact fact that you said Sam first!!!!" Kristy says with a excited face. Y/n rolls her eyes and says
" we are getting off track, I'm tierd and am in desperate  need of affection, so got your lesson?"

" kinda" Kristy says in a questionable voice.
And Y/n being the teenager she is just said " great that's all I needed to hear " and left.
Kristy knew deep inside that things were gonna change but her hate for her mothers relationship will stay buried inside her heart forever.

Y/ns POV
After a pep talk I walk downstairs to see Sam doing the dishes and I decide to help out.
I walk over to Sam and grab some gloves in the drawer and start to wash dishes.

" so how did it go ?  " Sam asked
" I pretty sure eh"
" great explanation" Sam says while lightly chuckling
we both finish and I take off my gloves and wrap my hand around him for a daily hug. I could sense that Sam was getting flustered by the amount of mucles tensed when I hugged him. We walk up to his room and Cuddle for awhile then I ask him about the tickets for the movie he promised and he said he would take me on Saturday. I got happy and cuddled into him more.

Sam's POV
Me and Y/n cuddles some more when I hear a soft light snore coming from below me and I lower my head to see a warm cute Y/n sleeping peacefully. I smile and turn off the lights and go to sleep myself.

The Next Day
5:00 am
Saturday

Y/ns POV

I wake up to an anoying alarm to see I'm cuddled with Sam who I've kinda had a crush for more than 2 years but who needs to know? I slowly stand up and leave the room without waking Sam up. I walk down the steps to see no one awake which is normal at this hour. I fix myself breakfast and walk up to Sam's room to get my Icenbergs jersey but walk in to see Sam already awake and brushing his teeth. I say hey and we talk while I grab my jersey and the rest of my equipment. We both walk down to see Kristy awake and I say
" hey Kris"
" Why are you guys leaving right now it's literally 6:00 in the morning?" Kristy questions

I say " we need to get to practice early remember ?we're on a national team?"
" Right im jealous"
We laugh and I push Sam out of the door.
We walk to the rink to see no one there so we get to changing. We walk into the room and start changing shirts and padding and when Sam finished he opened my locker and just threw me clothes occasionally while I was changing.
Keep in mind you have a undershort and a sports bra on

with the playbook while I rambled on .
I changed took off my shirt and said " Katie Carpen was talking to me about joining her babysitting club and I looked at her and said no thank you and then she called me a menace to society"
Sam chuckled a bit and I threw me my shirt and I caught it and put it on when Nico , Louis , Mark and Florence but as we call him flow man walked in and said hey. " hey guys " I say

" whats up? " Sam says.

" nothin excited for today's reveal" Nico said
Nico is a straight forward kinda mean guy to outsiders but we have been on the team together since three years ago.
" oh wait that's today?" I say

" yup "all the boys say. I start to kinda worry because the reveal happens every five months and is when you chose a person to remove their helmet after a game in front of everyone to reveal themselves. I was really worried because I guess some people just don't know that the player is really me and just not a random girl with the same last name. But I didn't fret as I would just not get chosen, I never do.
