The rest of the team packed into the locker room and me and Sam left for the ice rink. I start on drills while Sam works on his goals. The rest of the team started doing drills and a few practiced goals like Sam and then Coach Icemberg skated to the middle of the rink and stated " the revealed with be Y/n" .
I swear I almost chocked on thin air, anxiety is a literal part of my soul.
But I sucked it all in and said " I'll do it". Sam put an arm on my shoulder ya know his way of comforting me it while on ice and kindly smiled. What did I just do?
The next day after training a lot last night
9:00 am - Walking to school
( I wish school started at 9 for me😩)
I'm walking with Sam to school as well as Kristy and Marie Ann. I put my arm between the crook of Sam's and put my head on his shoulder because it's so cold I couldn't feel my toes. Keep in mind Sam is only a few inches taller than you.
" god practice last night really took it out of me" I say feeling like a boulder just hit me.
" yeah I can barely walk with out getting cramps" Sam says looking very pale but with his nose and checks as red as a tomato just like me. " Stop being so dramatic you guys" Kristy says and me and Sam gasp. " Go to one of our practacies and see for your self" I say.
We got to school and me and Sam dropped off the kids and me and him raced eachother to school. I won but barely ( THANK GOD) I need to show I'm better than him * flips hair and looks at nails* " you are sooo extra ya know" Sam asks after I did my celebratory dance. Wow he's such an anoying ass but I guess I've done my job then. I was about to make a comeback when the bell for home room went off and we walked to our home room. The teacher was in a mood and the heater was broken, oh boy.
