I quickly looked around, checking if anyone got shot, to realise no one did. The man who was aiming his gun towards us, fell to the floor.

The girl who brought us here stood behind him, with her gun out. "Let's go!" She called, and instantly ran off. We all hesitated a little before Thomas followed her, making us all follow him.

Music was heard all around the room, playing through the speakers. The girl lead us up some stairs leading back into the room where Jorge was. We also heard Janson talking from outside, telling them to give us back to them, and they won't get harmed in return, like we were some sort of prize.

"Brenda, there you are! Let's go." Jorge said as he swung open a window which had a zip line leading down to another building.

"You have got to be kidding me." Frypan muttered.
"You kids wanna get to right arm? I'll lead you to them, but you're gonna owe me." Jorge said, while making sure the ropes were safe enough for us to glide on.

"Follow me!" He then yelled as he grabbed the rope and jumped out the window, gliding down to the other building.

"Alright, let's go! Come on." Brenda then yelled as she started handing out the ropes for us to glide down on. "Go, go, go, go, go!" Thomas said as he was pushing us forward to grab the ropes. Newt, Frypan and Winston wasted no time before they grabbed the ropes and jumped out the window.

"I'll be right behind you." I said to Minho, wanting him to go first. He hesitated a bit at first before he left, leaving me, Theresa and Thomas. Brenda began running to another room, making Thomas run after her. I turned to Theresa who looked worried, "Don't worry, you go. I'll get them, tell Minho not to worry." I said and she nodded before gliding down the zip line.

I watched her go down as I then huffed in annoyance before following Thomas.

I was waiting at the bottom of the zip line, waiting for Malia to come down

I was waiting at the bottom of the zip line, waiting for Malia to come down. What's taking her so long? I should have made her go first. Theresa came gliding down, as Newt and Frypan helped her off the rope.

"Where's Malia?" I asked and she looks at me with a guilty expression.

"She told me to tell you not to worry." Is all she said. What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Then it all happened so fast, an explosion erupted through the building we were just at... where Malia is. Everyone ducked down as pieces of the building came crashing down. "Malia!" I screamed.

No no no no no no no, she can't be dead.

"Come on, we better get moving!" Jorge then said.

"No! That building just blew up, with Malia and Thomas inside and you expect us to just move along. No! Malia is in there, I need to find her." I rambled out, feeling angry, sad, and confused all at once.

She's not dead, she's not dead, she's not dead, I keep telling myself, trying to calm myself down.

"Listen hermano, Malia and Thomas will be fine, Brenda will get them out, we will meet them halfway, Brenda will take care of them, don't worry your girl will be fine." Jorge said, he seemed to be extremely calm in this situation.

I decided to take his advice and believe Malia is fine. Please be okay.

I should of took the rope when I had a chance

I should of took the rope when I had a chance. Now I'm stuck down here, in a dark hallway, where cranks could come out any second and kill us all, great. Totally not scared.

"Hey, you good?" I question Thomas as I give him my hand to help him up. "Yeah, yeah fine, you okay?" He then returned the question to which I nodded at. "Yeah, Minho's probably losing his shit." I said which made Thomas chuckle.

Thomas and I then followed Brenda, as she had a flashlight and began walking ahead as me and Thomas were talking. It was silent until Brenda broke it. "So, are yous two together?" Brenda questioned which made me burst out laughing. Thomas glared at me. "Sorry." I said to Thomas. "And, no we are not together, I'm with Minho, and Thomas has a thing for Theresa but he just won't admit it." I said while looking around.

"Not true." Thomas replied.

"Oh please, he's been obsessed with her ever since she came in the maze. It's okay Thomas I won't tell anyone." I replied and Thomas just rolled his eyes at me, before smiling to himself. Called it! Wait until I tell Minho. I miss him, and it's only been like 10 minutes.

"So is Jorge like your dad?" I questioned Brenda, feeling curious and besides we know nothing about her apart from her name. She shook her head before responding, "No, but he's the closest thing to a father figure I have, he's always just sort of been there y'know."

I nodded my head at her, I get what she meant, I mean no I don't have a father, or I can't remember who he is but I get it in the same way that I have Minho, he's always been there for me.

We all stopped when we reached a split. Both paths looked dark, both looked like they would be filled with cranks, but we had to choose one. I looked at Thomas who was looking at Brenda to decide which way to go, then Brenda looked at me, looking just as lost as we were. Great.

Thomas then travelled down one of the paths, I followed him, also thinking Brenda was following me. We saw a light at the end of the tunnel, this could be our way out. "Hey Brenda, I think it might be this way." Thomas said, turning around to face me. I turned around to look at Brenda to see that she's not there. "Brenda?" I called out, "Brenda?" Thomas also called out, looking panicked.

"Over here," She called out. We followed the sound of her voice to see her shining a light at a small web of vines, and leaves on the wall. "Look at this," she mumbled.

Thomas shone his light to where Brenda was looking, we saw vines travelling up, the walls, ground, ceiling and the smell, it smelt familiar.
