Brody told me he is taking me to an Italian restaurant. Aside from Olive Garden, I have never been to any Italian restaurant,

"We are about ten minutes away. Is there any music you have in mind?" Brody asked.

"Anything is fine," I respond.

Brody turned on the radio.

'The Heart Wants What It Wants,' by Selena Gomez was playing.

I smiled.

"I love this song," I said.

Brody turned the volume up a little.

I started singing and Brody noticed.

"Do you like singing?" Brody asked.

"Only in church and in private. I am too shy," I said.

"You shouldn't be. There is a talent show coming up soon. You should go for it," Brody said.

"I will think about it," I said.

Brody smiled.

Brody pulled into the parking lot.

"We are here," he said.

I looked at the sign of the restaurant. There are glowing lights around the sign.

It said: Summer Cove Bistro.

Brody parked the car.

"Best Italian food in town. You will love it," he said.

I also noticed how packed it was.

"Don't worry. I already made a reservation,"Brody said.

He hurried off his side and he opened the door for me.

I smiled and said, " You do not have to do that for me."

Brody took my hand and said,

"Of course, I do. I want to make sure you are respected and have a wonderful time tonight."

He continued to hold my hand, then he closed the car door.

Before we got in the restaurant, Brody asked,

"The evening is very warm tonight. How about we eat outside?"

"I would love that," I said.

We went inside the restaurant and Brody confirmed our reservation. Our table was outside, but it was very private. I noticed there was candles on the table and rose petals around the table.

"You did all this?" I asked.

"The owner is a friend of my dad. I told him about tonight," Brody said.

He led me to my seat, and he pulled out the chair for me. I smiled and sat down.

A server came by with menus.

"Good evening. My name is Max. I will be taking care of you guys this evening. What would you like to drink?" he asked.

"I would like a raspberry tea," I said.

"Same for me," Brody said.

"Great. I will get those right away and I will come back to take your orders," Max said.

Max left and I was alone with Brody.

There has been something I have been wanting to ask him.

"Brody, can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Of course," Brody replied.

"You mentioned before that you are looking for your dad and your brother. What about your mom?" I asked.
