The moment Eva opened the door of her apartment room, she rushed and laid down on the couch and cried in silence. Tears flowed down her cheeks like an endless waterfall. She just laid there hugging one of her fish-printed pillows.

To the people outside, Eva was always been a strong girl. But her pillows knew who she actually was. There wasn't a single soul to help her when she was helpless. She would never show her weak side to anyone but there were days when at the end of the day she would cry to sleep. She would cry whenever she missed her dad and her family. She had cried thinking about those days when her friends betrayed her breaking her trust like a sheet of glass being hammered breaking into numerous tiny pieces. She would cry thinking about her mother's ill health. She had cried more when someone barged into her house and stole all the money that she had saved in much care for her mother's treatment. She was forced to change apartments because she couldn't feel safe anywhere. Living alone as a girl, she had overcome a lot of hardships.

Thinking about how hard her life had become Eva cried. She had never shared her problems with anyone, not even her mother. She would always say that she is fine and that she has a happy living. She never wanted to be a burden to her mother by sharing her problems which would make her mother feel upset.

Today after those incidents she couldn't help but doubt herself. It's really rare for Eva to cry in front of a stranger. She was a brave girl always. But today that man Riaz made her cry within a night. She wasn't afraid of the men who chased her because she would always carry pepper spray and small knives for defense purposes. Being a girl who had lived alone for the past 7 years, she taught herself to live bravely. Those life lessons, she had learned throughout these years made her a strong independent girl. But that Riaz Wilton made her face the edge of death in a night. She didn't like this feeling. Even though she was scared, she felt ashamed of herself for crying in front of that guy. She wondered where her brave self had gone when those tears fell from her eyes.

She wanted to embrace happiness. But it was as if the God had other plans. Even though she was hungry, she didn't want to eat. She got up and took a cold shower. She fed her both Angelfishes and got to bed. She couldn't sleep so she just laid there throughout the night.

THE NEXT DAY

Riaz was at his home which was far away from his workplace. He was sleeping peacefully with his dear girlfriend in his arms. He took a shower, the cool colorless liquid flowing throughout his sculpted body. While showering, his thoughts involuntarily wandered around those pretty and adorable almond eyes, which later got puffy and reddish because of him. He shook his head trying his best to avoid his thoughts about that certain person. When he got out of the bathroom, he found his girlfriend eagerly waiting for him.

"Baby, I have to get going now. I will see you later" Stella said pecking on his lips.

"Alright," he said nodding. Stella grabbing her purse and mobile phone soon, left his home after waving a goodbye.

Riaz for a moment thought how lucky he was to get a girlfriend like Stella. According to Riaz, she was the best and no one could be compared to her. His mom was always been his world but he had lost her 14 years ago. He lived in guilt every moment thinking how he couldn't protect his mother. He felt happier when Stella came into his life and she had more familiar characters with his mom. He considered her as his second chance from god. It's been just one year that they are together but for him, she is his everything. Having the same name as his mom, he feels that she is his gift from god. He loved her because she would understand him and agree with him in everything. She would never argue needlessly. He was grateful that she wasn't that type of clingy girlfriend, who would get nosy in all his matters. He had already explained to her about Eva and his plans yesterday for which she gladly didn't argue and agreed with him. It made him feel relieved.
