A few weeks passed by when Shawn got a email that he was able to join a group called Magcon.
"Oh my gosh Shawn your gonna be famous!" I said jumping up and down.
"I-I don't wanna leave you if I say yeah."
I stopped and looked at him.
"Shawn it's been your dream..what are you talking about."
"I don't wanna leave you here while I travel, Christmas is coming soon also."
"Shawn it's just gonna be for a few weeks. then your gonna come back."
"Christmas is in 3more weeks 3!That's how long I'm gonna be gone."
"It's okay I could wait." I say as I held his hand.
"Well you don't need to go"
I started talking again.
"I guess I could go."
I smiled and he smiled back at me.
"R-really?"
"Yeah." He said smiling.
He was gonna go leave tomorrow So I helped him pack. he was gonna live his dream.
"One day I'm gonna see you preform some where in Toronto. front row."
I said zipping his suitcase close.
"Today's the last day I'm gonna be seeing you Skyler. I'm gonna miss you"
I stood up and I gave him a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you too" I said and looked up at him.
He had a puppy face. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and I grabbed Leo- Leo the lion, he always has it.
"What about Leo? You gonna bring him?" I asked picking him up.
"Yeah I guess." Shawn said as he grabbed it.
"It reminds me of you." he said smiling at it.
"It's cute like you." he started to talk again.
I blushed and I sat on the edge of the bed. He sat next to me.
"You know I'm gonna miss you so much."
"I know-but you'll survive."
We went to eat lunch and we hanged out the whole day, shawn sang me a few songs and we watched movies together.
Now I didn't want him to leave me.
And I'm gonna be alone in school.
But he's still gonna live his dream.
Soon I fell asleep on his shoulder as we watched our third movie.
A few hours later I woke up in Shawn's arms. I had a bad dream, that Shawn eventually found another girl and forgot all about me. I held on to Shawn tighter and he pulled me in closer to him.
I buried my head in his chest. And He mumbled to me.
"You know I d-don't..have to..leave you."
"It's fine but I just want you to live your dream.you worked hard."
"I-I love you." he said still sleeping. I kissed him then I went back to sleep.
And then the next day came. Mrs. and Mr. Mendes was gonna drive all of us to the airport to say good bye to Shawn.
